I rarely farmed ectos, farming outside of War camp got me my First Sup Vigor after 2 years, and then farming the Titans outside of LA got me my second, I farmed the Tengu and the Titans outside LA for Iron and feathers, I made a decent amount of loot and it only required 1 hour of farming, all I would do for the day is an hour of farming then go back to gaming................I don't have that kinda of time to invest in farming like other people.........oh well QQers got there wish.

Update: The last update buffed SF, they reduced the damage reduction to 33% instead of 50%. Sliver farming is now alittle better to use... The 33% reduction don't make much of a difference when targetting enemies that reduce earth damage alot, but it does make a good difference on enemies that take higher damage from sliver.
Also, with the Chaos Plains changed once again, it seems A/E sliver is the best choice to use to clear out mindblades. Farming ectos in Chaos Fields is still in effect, but runs take alot longer, but on the plus side, there is more Mindblade spawns.

Just to let people know how much of UW you can farm with this build.
I went on a run with a modified build to beable to farm Smites along with everything else in HM. I was able to clear out the Smites in Ice Wastes, took out most of the Bladed Aatxe, cleared Mindblades, and cleared out the Bone pits in alil over 2 hours. I spent about 10-15 minutes just Salvaging stuff to make room. I used Cupcakes for running, and took Feigned Neutrality for farming the Smites. I mainly went in just to test out Smites in HM, turns out it worked fine, and then I thought I might as well see how much I can really farm in UW with one build, turns out It can do almost everything including Smites. I tried it in Spawning Pools, but no luck on countering Kd's, AoE, and touch skills. But farming Smites, Bladed, and Mindblades all have decent drop rates, especially when you farm them all in one run...
I ended up with 8 ectos (which I thought was kind of a bad run), about 4-5k in Gold, got about 6-7 gold items that I merched, about 300 Iron, 300 Dust, and a Necro Tome. For the amount of enemies I killed, I should have got waaay more ectos... I thought it was kind of a bad run myself, has potential to get more doing a full run like that. I am sure you could probably get 12-15 ectos in about 2 hours if you get lucky on a good run.

I killed one dream at a time, cause you can't pull them more than 10ft from their original spot. So kill one at a time, then pull any of the group of mindblades to help out on sliver, and kill 3 dream riders in the first area before takin on mindblades... just use any extra aggro to help finish the riders off quicker. Once you got 2-3 dream riders killed and each spawned some mindblades, then you start gathering them up. When you kill some mindblades, and more mindblades are spawned, just pull those other mindblades towards the one you were already working on, and kill the rest of them off to spawn another big group.... when you got all big groups spawned, ball them all up to finished them off. Kinda hard to explain... but if you do it right, you can save yourself alot of time.

I can just use intensity instead of ebon standard of honor i hope

How do you get past Charged Blackness? I have about 435 hp and when my SF runs out, I recast it but they get run up to me and use Shock and I die

Wait is Oola's lab with a sin?

What skill can be used instead of Air of Superiority? maybe another glyph?
Marty Silverblade
AoS is typically used for the chance that it'll recharge key skills instantly, and with quick killing builds like Sliver, SF is almost guaranteed to get recharged. For this reason I doubt it; I don't know of any skills that are like it.

Could someone make a video showing this sliver form build in action? mainly in the UW.

I got 3 videos on the guide Two of them are videos for farming several different areas. Enjoy.
I'd make one of farming UW, but runs are too long. No sense recording different areas without showing full runs... UW is pretty easy with Shadow Form, just maintain it at all times, unless you know you are in a safe spot. unkleanone
when you guys talk about doing oola's can you kill everything there? Including the boss?

How do you stop the Aatxes from running when they get to low health?

Just a simple wand does the trick for me.
just wand an aatx beeing targeted by sliver. a ez name
Or you can pin em to the wall tactic, your right side against a wall their left side against a wall, they wont run if youve done it right.

use a farming staff for them, instead of caster weapon. That way you can wand them when they run, or wand the one targetted by sliver to keep them from running. Warriorsrmint
Are all of the places on the first page still possible using this build or will some of them be better with a dagger SF build?
furanshisuko
what asuran/ebon rank do you use?

Thanx for that tip, I have been going NM cause of this very point.
Ive been trying to keep them from running by standing close to a wall, but i find its hit and miss. Now its HM time. ReZDoGG

I have both ranks maxed, or all actually... But, you really don't need to max out Asuran rank as you will only be using [air of superiority], which should last long enough with any rank, aslong as the skill duration last as long as sliver than you should be all set. The only rank I recommend maxing would be Vanguard, for using [ebon battle standard of honor], which helps to add armor ignoring damage to Sliver.
Shadow Form still has a damage reduction, so it pushes you do get as much damage as possible from your skills, and any little extra damage is good. illidan009
yeah that battle standard thing is pretty useful...just started into permasin farming and it's pretty fun i guess...dont have to worry about much except for occasional lag ><

Hi!
how about this build in glints challenge for cores? you said it worked there as well in your video is it many cores each run then? couse there like 300 each so if you gather 50 it could be like 15k and that aint so bad Tom Swift
I don't know if any one has suggested it but "By Ural's Hammer" increases the damage of sliver by 25% and stacks with intensity and "ebon battle standard." It's recharge is 30 seconds (same as sliver) and only 5 energy. So it is an excellent skill for the extra slot or even to replace intenisty.

this build still works with UW?
i just checked the dates for the uw posts and its kinda long ago Mr.Kotte

Hey, Rezz, I gotta give mad props for the build. Thanks a bunch for all of this! You're very clever!
But: Do you use any particular build for farming DoA/Gems? It has it listed on your list, and I Gloom-farm regularly, but post-SF nerf, it's difficult to do it, even NM. Any suggestions from your brilliant mind would be appreciated! Thanks, Leona nagmier
Rez or anyone else! I have searched around I thought I saw a build/thread about A/E Farming Luxon Assassin's during the Haylcon Job Quest but I can't seem to find it am I crazy or am I missing it?
nagmier
Thanks I tried the standard SF Build and it didn't work I'll have to give it a shot a little more I must have been reading for another profession... Thanks tho I'll see what I can do
dasmitchies
Rezz, How do you get past the charged blacknesses in hm without getting ganked? They keep hitting me w/ knockdown
Scarn
You should be able to avoid them.
