Has anyone ever made you CRY on guildwars.......?
Light of the Shiverpeak
No one has ever made me cry on GW. Instead, I would make them cry. xD
No seriously, when someones starts to scream and yell, I just attack no matter who it is. My method of punishing is more harsh than Satan's. :P
Especially when there are those who have sweet voices, soft ones. I just hate when someone yells at em'. I flagrunnin' scream like Yakcrap (Guild Wars word for the word that starts on S and ends on T) them and suddenly I see them /disconnect xD! 0WN3D!!1one
Seriously, don't mess with softies when I'm on. xD

I always cry when playing online games, because the internet is serious business.

My first reaction to being insulted is to laugh.
I don't use vent/ts other than with guildies and we are all like good mates anyway.
On a serious note, I would kick the rude guy that wants to be some uber pvper, and re-invite your friend that left.

Yeah,
Once in GvG they made me run "Cry of Frustration" on my Paragon.
I Cried like 30 times that match.

It feels like something is missing in our guild now….my question is if this is normal in the PvP world…where pvp has made one of your nicest guildie turn to PvP monster? |

On the flip side, you have individuals that feel that they are entitled to be part of the team. or rather that the team has an obligation to them (the individual). you can see them all over this thread. When teams like this form, which sounds like it did for the OP. these people start thinking "what can the individuals on my team do for me?" turns into a possessive god like complex which is self destructive for the team. In real life, that would never fly. fortunately for gamers, people on cohesive teams tend to work on more high impact projects than winning an online game.
Really good teams though, and there are a few of them still around in this game, are composed of individuals who all bring something to the table. (What value do you bring to your team?) and they put the team first, before the individual. i'm sure you've all heard "ask not what your country (team) can do for you, but what you can do for your country (team)" and "Help me, help you, help me, help you." With enough patients, diligence, and open mindedness you get teams where you can discuss instead of having to "dish it out and take it" then pvp becomes alot more fun and enjoyable

If a guildie is yelling at me during a pvp match, fast travel. I have more influence than the leader in my guild, so im glad to know that if i get kicked, he will be taking out a large chunk of fellow guildies with him.
Crying over this is rather pathetic i must say, but so is venting your frustration over a microphone. I don't really sympathise with this friend of yours, as she should know that the internet is full of hate, but then again the torementor was rather stupid.

no one has made me cry but i made myself cry. i was using a perfect salvage kit on my vabbi derv to move runes to new asuran armor. and it was late 1 a.m ended up clicking on wrong salvage kit. i salvaged top and lost rune and armor and i got back was E. leather. to late to fix it now and not enough money to buy another after asuran. so i just salvaged the rest and got more e. leather plus ruby/sapphire. ah wells.

One time i was in RA running shock axe and this mending/essence bond/vamp gaze spamming necro kept flashing his brand new r3 bambi at me calling me an unranked noob for running a "wiki bar". I just didn't have the heart to wolf him because it was too funny. regardless, i laughed so hard i cried.

Guildwars doesn't offer too many opportunities to inflict permanent mental scars. No TPPK, no perma death, a trade system that's kind of secure. And heroes for those occasions when you had your fill of the human race.

I have not cried over anything in ages, let alone GW...but I'm pretty sure my antics have made other players cry or at least /rage.

The only time when I cried with laughter is when I got this guild invite from a guild named 'Tahlkora gives good [HEAD]', pretty brilliant :P

I guess the closest I have ever come to crying on GW, was when of those pesky Ancient Skales (on the Beach in FoW) killed me before I could pick up my req 9 Chaos Axe. That was quite a sad moment!

Yes, I do cry in game. In fact, cryers are in very high demand now, vs run, doa etc. Team always looking for cryers, if you don't cry, you can't get into a pug. The more you cry, the better you are. xD

why would u cry over something over the internet...i mean if ur a addict who played 10k hours and then ur account got keylogged and all ur chars deleted then yeah...but why else other than that?

I cried last night when I came online, went to AB, and saw the pussies that have replaced the Kurzicks.
I remember a time when the Kurzick AB lobby was filled with ranting and hate-filled speeches against the luxons; when people would chant in unison, "KILL THE TURTLE F*CKERS!" when we would have angry crowds yelling for blood, when we had people getting in front of the mob and stirring them into greater bloodlust with Hitler-esque speeches, telling us to go out an destroy the filthy luxons so that the Kurzick master race would be free from their taint. Then we'd go out there and utterly devastate the Luxons, taunting and raging at them the whole time.
Whatever happened? Where did those awesome Kurzicks go? I think they all went to Age of Conan when in came out, then sort of dispersed when it failed. :'(

My favorite part: pvp has made him into a monster! Ugh <.< Sorry, but i cant enter into your feelings :/ |
I joined a guild way back that was supposedly pve and pvp 50/50.
Well when my friend and I joined they had a newb member that needed help a lot and we showed him the ropes. Mostly how to farm shards and how to be decent in HoH back in the day (think IWAY's heyday). Eventually he got obsessed with HoH and the titles and surpassed a lot of members in rank mostly because he played day and night. He started becoming a real dick about everything. Now I don't pvp nearly as much as the guild did but I knew my way around and it came to a point where I would ask to go with them and they didn't allow me because I was not of sufficient rank. I was a damn officer in this guild to boot and being told this. The guild leader took his side and I just left. The guy literally became a monster, a real jerk.
Last time I forayed into pvp my alliance started to gvg weekly. During one of these I got yelled at by one of their officers on vent for not being a good monk during one match. Real funny since I was playing a warrior.
Now for pvp I stick with pvp light, mostly Jade Quarry. Don't have to worry about anyone else that way.

I did cry once. I was in a party with 3 Dervs(myself included) and some other randoms and the others wanted to do Villainy but needed ToA first. I offered to run solo but the other Dervs insisted that they could handle the run. But when they died in North Kryta Province it became clear they didn't know what they were doing. Neither did I(it seems that Vow of Silence pwns Avatar of Balthazar for running) but I was still better than them. So they die in every zone and beg me to rezone so they can try again. When we got to ToA I lol'ed because they died so many times and they left the group. A few mins later one of them whispers me and says "Did you have to be so mean to my wife? She's been crying uncontrollably for the past few mins.". I laughed so hard I cried. >.<

You... won? xd
But seriously, I used to GvG on my flag carrier in a 5-3 split team. But two monks got d/c and I had to heal whole team for about 5 minutes before RC reconnected. Good thing LoD was a bit strong back then.

Yeah....PvP's in the crapper because the assholes who ragespam the other team with threats and insults are getting banned. Yep, 100% truth there.
