Titles you wish didn't exist

I'm not the only one that thinks that title should be changed. Besides, what kind of survivor just goes out with friends and gets power leveled? Same difference.

People, how many times do I have to stress that I AM NOT SAYING TO REMOVE ANY TITLES!? I am only asking which ones you think would be better for the game if they didn't exist. They do exist, whatever. I'm not asking that they get removed especially since a lot of people have worked hard to get them. I'm only asking for an opinion, and that doesn't include flaming. If you have nothing nice to say, stop adding +1 post count by saying it anyway.

I keep hearing people bitching about my lack of interest in the PVP titles. Well I know that some people who play and prefer PVP think those titles aren't very good either. The grinding is the same, and as has been mentioned numerous times, if you aren't a certain rank you get kicked out of a group who thinks they're all "leet". So stop ganging up on me because others do share my feelings.

I agree with the Cartographer titles, who wants to go out into every single explorable area and uncover every single little pixel? No one that I know of, and most use TexMod to do it so it's not exactly accomplishing it. I think they should do something else to get that title instead of uncovering every single little pixel.

I don't mind the Zaishen title, all you have to do is turn in Balthazar faction for a key and that's an instant 5 points. If anything, all treasure chests should be worth 5 points each instead of just one, just no emote.

Titles were stupid to begin with. I wouldn't mind not having any titles.

Well yeah...that's the point.

On topic: I'd prefer it if they removed all titles but kept hero emote. The emote worked decently for grouping, and GvG-wise, most good players know the other good players.

Titles providing only text are about as gamebreaking as high-end armors. Those don't hurt anyone, unless someone's dreadfully jealous but that's not the game's fault.

I think the Z-key title is quite stupid. It would be better to have a true Balthazar faction title instead of a buyable keys title.

I don't care about titles one way or another, but if I had to choose, it would be any title that comes with a cheesy, obnoxious emote. To each their own, but these really have to make me ask why they exist.

I mean really, I was in spamadan the other day and there were 8 people standing in a group dropping spears on a mini black beast while someone just ran in circles around them with their glowing dear head.

They should add a quest title that logs all quests in the game (exclude repeatable quests)

The only one that matters to me is the Survivor title, and that's because I am actually trying to get it by playing thru the game w/o getting killed. It ups the stakes knowing that 1 death = end of game for that toon. It helps keep me on my toes!

All the rest, don't really care, nor bother about, aside from the necessary faction ones (Kurz/Lux; SS/LB; and then the - sigh - EotN grindfest to make those additional skills worthwhile.) I want my Norn armor, and my Monument armor, dammit! lol

Otherwise, who cares, really? They don't do anything, so why bother?

This would be a far better idea for the Z title. That way it could be based upon the total amount of Balth faction spent (obv 1k for skills, 3k for heroes, 5k for Zkeys) maybe also base it upon reward points spent. 1k for each one?

I much prefer this idea to the current system.

I'd rather see it with Faction EARNED instead of spent, as you can also buy flames of Balth

Wisdom - I've been playing 8 months-ish and have identified 105, and to max it I need 10'000? looool at that.
Theres a few other titles I wish I could just delete so as to 'Out of Sight, Out Of Mind-Ify' them

All of them.. It causes me to sit in front of this bloody pc for hours on end so little numbers add up to make a some text that no-one really cares about (except me).

I hope the GW2 prezzie is worth it !
