Well these roots sure are as much of a pain to farm as the berries.

The wife's sitting on the sofa next to me having great luck! So far has 9 roots in 2 runs. Me, I've got green weapons, dye's of every shade, great weapons and 2 roots. I'm annoyed!

I've been fighting my way to the guy in Arkjok on my ele - clears them out decently fast because the path there is absolutely rife with Mandragor. Packed Olias for BR - I hate Chilblains.

Lucky i save all mandragor roots i get to use in my sweet title... no need to me farm..
Maybe a 4 man heros with 2 MM, start with 8 henchs, afther get 20 minions let four or more henchs behind and go with 2 MM masters...
But no worrys... i remember this stuff drop at good rate

Solo Farming isn't going to do you any good, because the Roots are lootscaled anyway.

It is really one mandragor root cake per gift but in order to get one cake you need 3 mandragor roots.

The official wiki does not seem to state whether collectable drops are loot scaled or not. But the unofficial wiki does:
"With loot scaling, players receive an amount of normal drops (common and uncommon rarity items, collectable drops, gold, common crafting materials) proportionate to the size of their party as compared to a full party."
So according to this, bring a full root-harvesting party guilt-free!

Spent over an hour getitng the roots, got 10 blue rock candles, 5 green rock candles, 10 bottle rockets and 10 sparklers. Meh.

Not quite sure if they are dropping anymore often. On my first run I got 3 Roots. Next 2 combined, 0. All with a full team of H/H

Farmed the hell out of those roots...did the run to nicholas about 10 times and got a total of 2 roots, but managed to somehow get 3 kournan keys, 3 of that mandragor boss's green shields, and 5 Luminous stones also dropped from stoneflesh mandragors....
*sigh* Ended up buying the remaining I needed.
Got 10 honeycombs, 5 cottontails, 5 blue rock candies, 5 mysterious summoners, and a traveler's walking stick.

Well i got My 30 Roots in about 30 - 45mins with just me and 3 heroes
Sold the Gifts off for 7k Ea with no problems
70k for 10 gifts which took me say 45mins top.. not a bad out come if i do say so myself.
