Well just got a response on my second ticket. Theyve combined both into one and passed it to the Senior Team yet again. I've replied to it and asked them to try sort the matter out by the close of business today as this has gone on too long now and I seem to be getting nowhere and feel like its being ignored.

Are they working this weekend to sort the problem, or will it be that if you dont hear by this evening then i will be a minimum of a week ban.

Well its 1.52pm in London and 2.52pm in the rest of Europe so Im hoping that they are. Its 10.52pm here in Oz. Yeah Im clock watching on this thing too. Checking over my ticket I had a response from the European GM at something like 22.30 as the tickets are timestamped. Looks like they work into the night but I dont know if the Senior Team does which is what worries me. Am I going to spend another 3 or 4 days banned because of bad programming on their part?

I fire up 3DS max load the ship and just cant get into it as I keep wanting to check my ticket to see if Ive had any responses. So now I will have to make my appologies on the Egosoft forums.

NCSoft acounts mass banned for several days due to software error

... and seemingly shows next to no interest in rectifying the situation.
An admitted glitch in NCSoft ingame stores (Guild Wars) has affected a seemingly large number of Guild Wars and City of Heroes/Villains players for the last week. Several players have had their Master accounts banned for "Payment Fraud" (with the addition that this decision was final) thus affecting any NCSoft game they played. The pattern seems to be that these players have bought game addons via NCSoft Internet and ingame store sometime around the end of last week. Despite normal emailed purchase confirmations and ingame activation of purchased features all these players were mass banned monday this week.

Most all players seems to have the same story ... several attempts contacting support have resulted in at best stalling responses from NCSoft. A few have reported getting their accounts unbanned but apparently many are still - now on day 5 - locked out of services they have paid for. Anger and frustration is widespread both because of the banning but also because of the glaring lack of communication from NCSoft.
Also there is no official word that the stores are now actually fixed - so to all of you be careful what you do!!!

Actually, I think they are showing interest, I think there just buried with workload on it.
The help ticket I raised Monday night, was responded to fairly quickly and ive had updates most days, I chased it tuesday and wednesday night, thursday I opted to stay quiet, and I got my "fix" at around 11:30gmt this morning.
In all my replies I was never nasty, just stated the facts (And linking to this thread I feel helped), it was always past onto a senior account person to look into, and up until today I never got a "its not your fault" answer, but today they have come back to me and im happy .
Hang on in there everyone and if you need to chase, include all the facts and point them at this thread if you havent already.

You guys, I really am sorry that you are still banned from your accounts. I can't imagine the frustration you feel and while I admit that this is certainly dragging out, NCSoft is dealing with a lot of backlog. I know it doesn't make it any better to hear but you will get your accounts back.

I think the big thing is people feel powerless.
People need to feel they are doing something even if it is just to shame NCSoft in the hope they will do something.
The way it is looking, anyone who has not had there account back by this evening will have to wait untill at least monday before they can hope to get it back.

There are now people who have been banned for 4 days now. this is a PR nightmare for A-net and NCsoft. They need to keep people up dated whith how long they expect it will take etc. NOT going AWOL for the last 2 days. |

From your smug comment - i guess you have not recieved a ban - the people who have been banned have supported this game by purchasing (or trying to) items from the online store.
It seems its easier to be "Clever" when everything in your garden is rosie (sorry if this offends but i can`t stand the "I'm alright Jack" attitude of some people) - please only try to post relevent or indeed helpful comments.

I tried to buy a make over today trough the ingame store got a weird message saying something was not safe about my credit card? wtf
I tried using the online site but some weird error every time i try to buy it.
They cant verify my order at this time.

My account is terminated till monday and last message from support I've get on tuesday 2pm CET. They've wrote than they contact with me asap... 3 days after still nothing. This is realy annoying and I'm ... angry. Now I have to wait till monday and maby they'll write something to me if they find a bit of time and wish...

I hope they are working overtime to sort this out im going on a 5 day ban and its now 7PM GMT wich means if there is no overtime been done then i will be monday when i get my account unbanned min wich means ill miss this weekends bonus ¬_¬ (there gose my title grinding) not to mention the 7 days of Zmissions i will miss (now my Gardian title is messed up)

I did not post because I do not have more information than I had in my last post. I talked to the European support, and they are working through the backlog as fast as they can. Unfortunately, I cannot give a precise date by which all tickets will be closed and all accounts will be unblocked.
Again, I understand your frustration, I really do. I am a gamer as well as a CM, and during my MMO history, I had my fair share of support issues as well, so I know how you feel.
All I can do is again to issue my apology.

Just to let you all know : I got my accounts back now - around 23:00 UK time. That single storage pane I bought they gave me for free.
As far as I could check quickly everything in game seems to be OK - including all the stuff I already put in that extra Xunlai pane. One thing though - on my CoH/V game account my Creditcard info had disappeared for some reason so I had to enter that again and renew sub.
I sincerely hope for a speedy fix for everyone affected

Well just crawled outta bed, its Saturday morning here in Oz also. I too recieved an email from GM-Fred saying exactly the same thing
However the actual time that I got the response was 17.55 when I goto the support site.

My account's back too, the support ticket reply is stamped 2.16am. The items I bought were also reinstated at no cost (wish I'd bought more now hehe). Looks like some poor bugger at support is pulling a long weekend shift though. Spare a thought for those guys left to clear up someone else's mess, missing a glorious sunny weekend here in the UK and probably not even getting paid overtime =)
