i don't understand...friday the store has taken money from my credit card. Now the support tell that he replaced the cd-keys, free of charge. This means that i'll get back my money? Because my money missing from my credit card account.

Hi,

My account was locked 5 days ago and I still haven't received any hints of progress from support which I contacted immediately when I got the friendly "fraud" message. As most others, I purchased storage panes and I've verified that the payments are ok with my bank.

That depends on your CC-Provider; afaik the payments are booked with the cc-providers, but the are not collected. Each payment has to be collected within 30 days... it's called debit or something like it. Maybe your provider shows booked positions no matter if they are debited or not, the dough should show up after 30 days if that's the case. Anyways, u got a 30 day period to protest against any bookings ... worth considering.

A lot of maybes and me-thinks, hope u got a lead anyways...

It means that although you DID pay for them, the first ones were blocked and he has replaced them for free...

basically you HAVE paid for them, but you don't have to pay for them again

There is one other issue here too. A friend of mine has had this issue, and he had linked all his accounts to his ncsoft account for ease of purchase in future. However, with this being the tournament weekend, and still no sign of returned accounts, he won't be getting and Z-keys on any of those accounts for his predictions, as he isn't able to make predictions

WOW, Anet and NCSoft /fail at processing credit card information, and they want us to pay by credit card... I hate to think what the failure to process the information correctly implies about their inability to keep that information safe.

Might I suggest a Re-enable keys button on the database interface, since an hour to reactivate keys on an account is ridiculous. Sure, it might take a week or two of a decent coders time, but that'd reduce time wastage immensely. Efficiency, people, efficiency.

Well, I got the "Your Guild Wars account has been terminated for payment fraud" message this morning after buying the pet unlock pack. It's only been 7 or 8 hours since I sent the e-mail to support, how long on average does it take to get this resolved?

Red01, this issue was resolved early June. You need to contact support with this issue as there haven't been any recent reports of this happening.

dont count on this to be over yet, i was recntly banned for accout fraud. so i went looking around and to check what teh codewas for why it was banned i tryed to log on and it took away all of my bonus thing, EOTN, extra character slots the collecters edition i bought 2 hours ago, and i had made an assasin right b4 i was banned and when i went over him in character select it had said i didnt own that expansion.

it might call it fraud if you buy too many packages at once... so when you buy 3-5 different items from the store at once... they might flag your credit card as fraud/stolen... think of it as an annoying security blocker... it does happen... for instance at Shell Gas, if you use your debit card at a pump then use it again later that day at a differnt Shell Station, they will block it at the pump and you must use the card in the store for security purposes because it might be stolen. I ran into that issue a couple of times, but if you look at it from the personal safety part, its understandable. Might be wise to space your purcheses out a little due to this sensitve fraud blocker.

Not sure exactly why you got banned. But most of the people here was because of an error in the ingame store. Since you can't buy the collector's edition in the ingame store, you may have a completely different problem from the rest of these people.

Any recent purchases from the ingame store? Skill packs? Pet pack?

I just realized that my account was banned for fraud payment also.
All I did was to buy the extra storage pane for free when the promotion was available.
I've been telling them but all they gave me was a lame crap like "Your PlayNC account and Guild Wars account email address was same. You are not suppose to". For a week they refuse to solve this problem. They're the fraud by calling me a fraud.

And here's the kicker.
I'm a member of a online press, and I have to write about Guild Wars 2 articles today. I'm about to lose faith in ArenaNet but still have to post articles about them. My life..

Exact same thing just happened to me. I emailed support and am considering calling them tomorrow afternoon as well. Knowing this has happened before and people have gotten their accounts restored is reassuring, to a degree, but the fact that it happened at all is very disappointing.

OOO So it is, theyre pretty helpful because i had this problem when i used a new card. Give them information such as your characters and account name.

Any serial keys used if you still have them, scans or photographs of them is extremly helpful.

they were helpful for me but now i see it seems to be a common problem between you people on the same thing then theyre more likly to help out and believe that its an error on their store software side.
