I've seen examples that would belong in this thread by far. About a week ago a player reported all SCers in toa because they were "hacking noobs". His reason: he couldn't discord UW HM, so obviously it's impossible to do it in any way... (fun fact: the idiot got dhuumed, probably for /report abuse).
That kind of thing is the reason that discord is seen as a bad thing by alot of people. Unfortunatly people like the idiot I just mentioned are not rare... They treat discord as a miracle cure to prevent all forms of failure and often insist there is no possible better 7h team (or any team in general) that doesn't use discord. As long as these people exist, people will hate discord for it (or any build/setup with alot of them supporting it, for that matter).
Ofcourse there are people who just randomly hate discord too, those exist for anything.
Personally, I couldn't care less if someone uses discord, as long as you aren't an idiot. Now stop the discord/SF flaming (both sides) and go back on topic before the mods lock this down.

Personally, I have absolutely nothing against SF (both post and pre nerf). I will argue in favor of an SF nerf to go towards balance rather then locking up in the current meta as that is the side with the understandable arguments, but I do not care if it happens or not.
People can play whatever they want if you ask me, regardless of common sense. The reason I choose nerfing main skills and buffing weak ones is simply that I want to see the meta shift over time, without major buffs/nerfs it will lock up as its starting to do.

The stupidest thing I ever heard while playing guild wars is the song Friday. I accidently clicked the link when it was on the home page on YouTube. I must say tho, it made me wanna kill shit in game more so I guess it almost wasn't a complete waste of a song. An tbh, it's not that bad of a song, after the first 5 seconds my ears were bleeding so badly that I couldn't hear it anymore

Last night, i was trying to join in a pug as a monk healer to do zaishen vanquish and this is what i found.
After seeing that I left the group (before it even started) and went to do something else. The formation is bad enough, and seeing that build scared me away. From now on, i think i am better off with 7 heros

Why does everyone always cite Flare as the "bad" skill? There are way more creative ways to make something that doesn't work, at least Flare can post DPS of some value and doesn't break a build.

@Xiaquin: because I can't think of a situation where you wouldn't rather have some other skill than Flare. If you're going to spend 1second casting something before moving onto a more powerful spell, bring Immolate if you think you need single-target damage (and you probably don't). If you're going to cast it more than once at a time, well, there are better spells you can use that fill that time.

I offered a really nice req8 crenelated sword 15^50 to someone once with a very low price tag just to offload it for space. The other mods on it weren't so hot though, I think the hilt was something other than fortitude, probably armor because it was cheap to to throw on or whatever back in 2006 when I modded it originally.
Anyhow, he laughed in my face and was like, "I don't want that piece of crap, the mods are garbage", like he didn't understand that he could switch the hilt and such and believe me, he would have gotten it for a steal.
I just face-palmed as he went back to spamming "WTB r8 weapons only!! NO CRAP MODS!" into trade.
