UW R/RT or RT/R solo build
Invertation
I toyed a good bit with this build as well, with a few variations. What I've found most preferable is the basic spirit setup with painful bond, summon spirits, and armor of unfeeling. This does except my ability to take out the ice wastes, but otherwise it makes a sturdy fighting force.
While it may seem a bit unnecessary, I found Summon Spirits to be rather useful for a bombing technique, wherein I set up a stack, pulled out of spirit range, setup another stack, and dropped that when the first stack died.
And, on a side, I tried a two man UW with a few spirits like wanderlust and FoMF as support. It's a great build overall.

Spun Ducky, you might try sorrow's furnace. I did some of it and was not having much of a problem. I did farm an Ice Breaker when I was getting my scalps for Nick. I also feather farmed Napuhi and jaya bluffs with no problems in nm and North Kryta Prov. in hard mode. I use the same build but with a rt primary and summons spirits for feel no pain.

If anyone wants a partner to duel UW with you can pm me. It's always more fun going with people

Played around with the build last night in the UW for the first time, was good fun.
I'm still learning it as I couldn't take out the smites. However I was able to take out groups of 9 Mindblades and take out lots of terrorwebs easily.
I may try and make a video of my next run unless someone makes one before me.

Here is another spot that is actually kind of fun to farm. You can vanquish the entire The Breach zone in about 60-90 minutes. Spirit light is needed for healing as some of the charr can be rather nasty.

Nice, I might try and film some more locations one day, perhaps make a montage of them for this thread.
I put together a video of what leftovers I filmed in my UW run outside the Chamber, though I forgot to film myself when I entered the Pools - got too distracted trying to dodge meteors!

Decided to give this a try - I was using Painful Bond initially but it was too energy intensive. Swapped that out for Boon of Creation and it worked great. Now if I can only get my internet to stop lagging on me so I can do more than just clear the Aatxes before getting rubberbanded to death...
the slasher
I just dont get how you can possibly survive the aatxes.... i mean, you enter UW.... do you take Q or not? cause if you DO take it, since u got no speed boost, you will get attacked by 5 enemies at least, anyhow, how can you survive 2 aatxes? sure, one is blinded 100% of time, but the other can kill you in 2-3 hits.. how? +, you don't have a heal....... (unless i missed sth, which im sure i did, i dont know what spirit leech aura has for an effect^^(dont play rit))

It's not that hard, see for yourself: Clearing the Chamber

I got some of it done in hard mode with a rt primary.

So which is better for the primary ? the R or the RT?
Ugh

I tried with both. With a RT primary, your spirits die slower and do more base damage. But, with a R primary, I could bring Painful Bond and Anguish for damage and spam everything without ever getting low on energy.
I perfered Ranger but both work very well.

This works beautifully. I used summon spirits and Painful bond.
Aatxes dropped like flies. spiritleech aura and the smites didnt
hang around long either. Really nice build.

Any tips on killing the webs, i always get nuked and die. Otherwise Gratz on the build
Edit: Forgot to add that im running this on a rit, so Immolate hits pretty hard, but I'll be sure to grab a fire shield, and a warding weapon for that extra armour, but I should really start a ranger for this.

Just sucker meteor off the them before pulling back to the spirits, rangers have great elemental armour so most of the damage you take is a bit of burning and that will come back soon so long as vamp is up. Terrorwebs without meteors are pretty weak
gw_poster
spread out the spirits to avoid the aoe destroying them all at once.....call on one of the webs so fire is concentrated on it - once one falls they are pretty much toast - if you are that concerned bring a pyrebound set (if ranger) to provide more vs. fire armor protection - or pop a cupcake if you find yourself burning to <100 hp
edit: a mercantile summoning stone is nice here too, especially if you are taking up inventory with spare armor set(s)

Carrying a +10 Fire shield with a Warding weapon can help to reduce damage. Just swap to that set for an easy +25 armor boost. That should cut damage from the Dryders.
Lightning and a Slashing/Shelter set may help for other foes. You'll have to swap a fair bit, but you only need an energy set while activating skills.
edit: Isn't there a recommendation in the first post to use a flatbow, anyway? Dryders shouldn't be in spell range to hit you.

I made a hero team build, to speed things up a little. I noticed that one of the heroes is basically useless, I have to change him to a Monk hero to heal. Or a Warrior to tank with the minions.
Ignore the low screen resolution, I'm watching videos while playing.

The only area where it might have problems is with Dryders, but then again, I didn't have a hero to heal me, only protters...

Unreal Havoc
I was using a very similar setup earlier just messing about only without Armour of Unfeeling or Spiritleech Aura. I was just spamming Summon Spirits to heal them lol.
I'll give this a whirl later, looks pretty good.

A trick I noticed when I was dealing with smites was pulling them to the edge of their aggro, setting spirits beyond that, and putting a few decoys in their range. You can pick off the smites slowly that way until you get the hang of it.

Any tips on the runes/insignias to use to take full advantage of this build. By the way i haven't used my ranger in ages and as my ritualist is my second favourite character this makes a nice change.
DarkCloud Of God
I just vanq'd Scoundrel's Rise in 17 mins with no problems. I didnt really get any drops worth a crap. So I tried to vanq The Black Curtain I had no problems with anything out here just was taking a long time and I didnt have long to play. The fog nightmares can be tricky you just need to give them space in HM since they have Grenth's Balance. In the last spot on my bar I took mend body and soul for a heal/condition removal it saved me a couple of times.

Great build... just used it to farm 15 skelk claws for Nicholas in about 10 minutes

LMAO damn you was just about to add them haha but thanks anyway, actually found this thread via your video, was originally given the build by a guildie and yours linked when i uploaded the chamber one
Firstly kudos guys for coming up with this build concept, Rangers my orginal and favourite char so with all my titles complete on it this is giving me a great excuse to have ALOT of fun with him aswell as use up some of my stockpile of sugary cons
I've not found any of the farms that actually need cons but they do assist in speeding up things a little
Aswell as the above videos I've also done Scoundrel Rise Vanquish and done a practice run on FoW Forest which was alot easier than i expected. YT's down for maintenance tonight so can't upload that yet, will make a vid for FoW tomorrow night hopefully. Put the continuation of UW on hold until the weekend when i have more time. Will obviously continue making more as i try out new areas that are worthwhile. Which is looking like it could be quite a few areas lol, maybe my ranger can catch my perma sin up for videos hehe

I updated the original post with the videos thanks guys and this weekend I will hopefully be able to do another decent sized update with more areas to farm and some 2-3 man farm versions.

Reefclaw Ragebound HM
Can solo outcasts in HM but they can be pretty hard. I assume NM would be cake.
Lots of Haiju Lagoon in HM (though I think this has already been said)
Mandragor's NM - Mandragor Cakes!
Traveler's Vale HM, just to be random.
And not to forget them 3 Arborstone bosses in HM, in case anyone didn't know.

I used this to farm Avicara scalps for Nicholas the other week, and also cleared out the troll cave outside of Droks a few times just for the hell of it.
Also, just because I hadn't yet done the quest, I soloed the Captured Son quest in Haiju Lagoon. Was awesome
