Screw that. Just make the hats available free of charge from the festival hat NPC or something, and I'll be happy. It's nice of Anet to give us gifts, and the holiday spirit is fun, but I have no interest in attending another bunch of events that are exactly the same as they were the past three years I've done them.

I realize you're ignoring it, but you're desperately needed in this thread. It's a much bigger issue than a couple stupid hats.

The issue with reaching Kamadan was caused by multiple builds of the game running at the same time. In other words, because people are not logging out of the older version of the game (e.g. AFKers), this is causing issues for people in the new version of the game. The gamer servers have been reset to address this issue.

A lot of people errored out of Guild Wars as soon as the event was supposed to happen. Not sure if this was due to a poor timed server reset or what. Either way it plugged everyone back into higher districts that were created after the event started- meaning no avatars, no hats.

Hoping for better luck in Kamadan ^^;;

How did you get the hats ? my wife went LA dis. 21 and got grenth's hat , I went to dis.23 and the event even didn't started ! this all in europe english districts , also some american districs like dis 88 didn't start the event etc.

My bad luck is killing me lol

I got both of my hats in Lions Arch and nothing but bad luck in Kamadan. Event never even started in Kamadan.

I just arrived in Kamadan, setting up my toon for the next event and people are complaining of the Event not even starting, at all.

Apparently it's 30 minutes late from what I'm told by those who've been there longer then I have since the update.

Anyone else having these problems?

its nice they fixed it...got my dwayna hats (one in euro eng 2 and the other in am 16---LA)....now for the other account....hope this fix fixed it for good. (though from the post above me apparently not /facepalm)

It would be much better if you have wintersday collectors offering hats instead of re-running the finale. No one really cares about the finale except for the hat.
