Kind of makes you wonder why they'd tell you they were summoning something for a costume. I'm sure they'd come up with another not-so-witty pun.
carbajac
That's cool, I never really felt the need to finish the dishes but if I get a reward for it. I could be convinced to farm a bit.
chaosincarnate87
ya'll know its gonna be a costume or hat that turns you into a summoning stone... just be rollin' around the floor like one of those vacuum cleaner robots.

On the right side, in the Festival Rewards box, what symbol is that behind the words? The circle and the triangle. I think I have seen it somewhere else, it has nothing to do with guild wars though. Just curious because it's used throughout the site. I have seen it before on the history channel in the US. I think it has something to do with the masons signs like the ones on the American dollars.
In this rank box also:

Disguise. For 50 minutes, you look like a Roomba. Suck attacks replace your... oh wait, your skills already sucked, NOOB!

It's going to be a summoning stone (of the tiger of something stupid), not a costume. Isn't that obvious?
If they decide to make any more costumes, they'll cost RL money. Welcome to the new business model. They don't give good shit away for free anymore.

FREE costumes would be nice (especially for those who dont have linked accounts/cc/etc)....but yes we know anet needddddds the money....so there will probably be a new costume too....but still think its gonna be a summoning stone. (want that ecto 'dropping' one, please please please plezzz)

What mini celestial tiger just for attending?
The quote I read goes
Unless they're just giving out regular tiger minis. I wouldn't mind either.
The quote I read goes
Quote:
In addition to the items mentioned above, lucky players may find one of the rare Celestial Tiger miniatures hidden inside a Lunar Fortune! Carry the divine beast's luck with you throughout the year! |

Anet made a copy/paste error. From another thread:

Looks like an old piece of text slipped into the web site text. We're sorry about the confusion. We'll have our web team correct that as soon as possible. So, here's a clarification from the Live Team: You obtain the Celestial Tiger randomly from the Lunar Fortunes (just like last year).

Vulturion
Thanks for relaying the clarification, Arduin.
I'll have to go with obvious "summon a description" hint too, but at least there's high potential for it to be something viusally interesting.
I hope there's a new costume to coincide though!

Perhaps it will be a mini tiger that is customized for you account only.... or an everlasting summoning stone (that is customized) b/c if they're giving them to everyone, the people that attended would get them (1 bazillion ppl) then it would have to be customized...at least...that's what I think IMO.
Darcy
No, ALL do not get the mini.

I wouldn't be upset with a summoning stone (everlasting ). I must be the only person in Guild Wars that actually uses them.

Could be a PvE skill I guess , (Summon celestial Tiger) have skills liek summon mursaat and that, but it wouldn't reaaly be fair to have it limited to a certain day.
would hope that it's a costume, a relaly nice free one more than a summoning stone..
that or thhey summon menzies (if he's related to the whole demon thing at all, unless I'm mixing my festivals)

Celestial Summoning Stone : Summons Random celestial creature (the ones form that mission in factions)
Charlie Dayman
That definitely would be a neat little toy to have. As much as I like abusing them, I normally save them for HM since I don't find them too often. An EL version would be more than welcome to my inventory.

An Everlasting Summoning Stone that pops a creature depending on the location you are would be sweet.
However....

That is the main reason we didn't make an everlasting mysterious tonic or summoning stone in the first place and I think the point still holds with the Zaishen tonic too. We want and intend to add more ways to spend Zcoins. I do think that adding some more everlasting versions of stuff is a viable and likely option, but I think we are more likely to separate out certain forms from a random tonic or stone and make separate versions instead. *shrug* Not sure, haven't planned anything yet. - Image:User Linsey Murdock sig.jpgLinsey talk 00:05, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

Summoning stones make me cry. I don't use them often and I really don't see an everlasting one make me want to use it any more.
20 bucks says its skills would be crappy anyway.
jazilla
I would bet on Everlasting Celestial Summoning Stones out of the Lunar Fortunes.
T-Strudel
If they ever do make another "Everlasting" summon stone, I hope level 20 characters can actually use it, not like the only everlasting one we have now (Igneous.)
Jugalo Dano
Maybe they will add another item that can be turned in at the menagerie for a celestial tiger ranger pet, that would be pimpin-pimpin.
jazilla
upon reading it carefully, it says that if the feast is prepared correctly, everyone in that district will get one. I doubt that means something everlasting. i am leaning now toward just a regular summoning stone.
Artisan Archer
I don't use summonstones, but eh, a celestial tiger summoning stone... That's pretty awesome.
AngelWJedi
i dont think it will be costumes. like they would give us something they charged for before? i think it will be a summons or another mini. the celestial tiger looks so sweet cant wait to get one! xD
HuntMaster Avatar
How sad. I used to love these events, now I only log into the game to get a new mini pet, for absolutely no reason. I still don't get why I collect mini's for a game I no longer play.
