Tried exagerating a bit, but I guess it was a bit too much

Is this any better?
The orb she's holding is from the Spell Breaker skillicon, but I'm going to change it into a staff and lower the arm a bit I think. Orb seems too random

I think that looks much better.
And I like the Spellbreaker orb :P

Hmm, if you maybe draw the orb smaller, but floating above her hand with some light effect from it, wouldn't that be better?
Also, I think her breasts look huge for a small monky like that.

Ele-boobs on monk :O
Very nice job Tommy. I want to "paint" too now :3

Heh, yeah I slimmed her boobs a bit, I always tend to make them too big. I really have no idea why *puppy eyes*
And nothing is stopping you Gemini!

Ok quit the previous monk because skin color turned out to be wrong

Too lazy to change it so I started over. New wip:
Bad idea: use myself as ref for a girl. Slimmed her waist down 10 times and still too broad xd Its nice to finaly render a face again, missed it.

I don't think the problem is her waist, it's her upper body/rib cage area. The waist is fine, but right now she lacks ribs. Remember that the chest curves out from the waist, instead of being straight as a pole all the way to the neck.
Her shoulders are good though.

You just need to widen the ribcage area, and then leave the waist how it is.
I love love LOVE how you did her face. She looks cute as a button! The skintones are great too, I couldn't stop staring at the lovely smoothness of the skin.

This any better?

I need to be careful for ele-boobs
..and I'll just assume buttons look cute

A little better, but it could curve more.
Something like this?

The boobs can be smaller though - just remove the booblines I drew, but keep the general width the same or something. Just because she's got less boobs doesn't mean she's got less ribs.

It's hard to do smaller boobs though, because finding the right size for the upper body (without it looking too thin or manly) is difficult.
And yes, buttons are super cute! <3 They're so small, and round, and usually colourful. :3

That has got to be the most adorable monk face I've ever seen so far!

ugh... boob are such a pain to draw! Her face is absolutely adorable!

Face is lookin' good, though her right nostril is a wee-bit bigger than the left.

Good catch Charlie. I'll see and fix that. Also still need to find a way to make her eyes look less scary
And Aero, it doesn't matter when intended I guess. Though its not really intended. When it comes to gaming characters I have a certain perspective of doing it 2 ways: Either realism and giving them flaws and character or a different style and try to make 'm look smooth and perfect. Ofcourse there are all sorts of combinations, but if I draw game characters I oftenly try to make them look 'perfect'. If I do things for friends or something then charicature all the way xd So depends on what you try to acchieve I think.

Does it matter? After all real people are always not totally symmetrical or is it a bit too much to be realistic?
For a picture like this, it comes off that the monk is supposed to have a rather idealized face. So that means she'd have a fairly symmetrical face - unless whoever commissioned this says otherwise in regards to facial features/structure.
The main reason I pointed it out though is because her entire face is pretty symmetrical and even. But that right nostril of hers really comes off a lot bigger in comparison, and throws off the balance of her face.
IMO, it's easier including non-perfect features onto a study that's exclusive to the face. That way, you can really accentuate ALL the imperfections of the face without it simply coming off as disproportionate because of one purposeful imperfection.
Now that I think about it, I feel it's almost a natural tendency to sort of idealize the faces on figure drawings in regards to their proportions. It's not until we do portrait studies where things like wrinkles, crooked nose, moles, and other imperfections are really included.
EDIT Or he could just increase the size of the smaller nostril to match the larger. That could work too.
