Drinking is part of it so Charliepai and you are right on that as well.
And here's the rough sketch of the entire thing..still missing a key element but I think it's way too obvious now, changed Mina's clothing too because I feel like it lol.

Looking very nice.
One thing I'd suggest is perhaps try having a little more variety to the angles of the faces, since right now everyone else is drawn with the exact same angled semi-sideprofile except for Mina. It looks a little unnatural, how everyone has their faces in a similar pose.
Otherwise it's looking awesome so far. Can't wait to see how you finish this.

Well here's my progress. Didn't really get to do much this weekend lol. But I changed Samael and Murke's faces (as per Perynne's suggestion) and also started rendering Mina and Vale
Forgot to mention that Mina is my only character in this pic. The rest are my guildies' RP characters
All the guys are rangers, Grainne (the woman beside Mina) is a monk, Murke is a necro in GW. Well, we all know what Mina is lol.
Although I had a reference for the pose, the faces/expressions are drawn according to their personalities and how I imagine them to look like.

Yup planning to color it. I do all my stuff in b/w first so I can focus on the light/shadow and not worry about color picking lol (been doing this since around Sept last year). This method is much easier for me because I use to sketch a lot and just do shading.

lol, my original idea was the four guys Ran (my ranger) and the three guys you see in that pic. That has more potential to become violent because those four never get along so well. Especially Ran and Vale. At least we got a few referees here.. Quote:
