Although I know that these won't give a player TOO much of an edge over someone else in PvP. It will give an edge nonetheless. I can imagine that a perfectly tripmodded focus/shield would go for mindboggling bucks when sold.

yes but most of the shields here. u must remember they most have high tac reqs making em quite useless for warriors and for casters also 8ar ones

I think this is a staging ground for a new mod system. Just a personal thought on the matter. Dual mod is now 2/3 mod. Triple mod is the new perfect. Just an opinion.

First i was like ah wow first e+5 item there, then i looked the sickle up at wiki:
Doubleaxe is a core item and crescent one can be found in factions.
So this one is probably attainable elsewhere than in the Mausoleum ;(

Just looked that one up again, if its the tyrian skin nearly max its super-rare since theyre usually only dropping up to northern shiverpeaks congrats mate!

As whites and blues they can drop in Nightfall Tutorial and Prophecies, too. There are no recorded purple or gold inherent Tyrian Sickles however. Only the inscr. ones from EotN.

Ok, so I've been sorting through SS from last night's runs with friends.
There's nothing unusual about these items compared to what's already listed, but they illustrate a few points.
To add to the list of non-core skins we're seeing drop, the following dropped for me or teammates during our runs ...
Arcane Scepter
Crude Daggers
Sickle (both "doubleaxe" and "crescent" now)
Tribal Axe
Pyrewood Staff
Serrated Spear
Crimson Claw Scepter
Banded Spear
Goldleaf Defender
Evil Eye Staff
Voltaic Wand
There's nothing unusual about these items compared to what's already listed, but they illustrate a few points.
- As Frozen Ele pointed out, these items are being generated like normal inherents rather than inscriptions being changed to inherent mods. Notice the inherent HCT Inspiration Magic on a Fast Casting wand and the inherent poison reduction on a staff, along with another inherent armor vs. Species on an offhand.
- The prefix mods dropping on these items are inscription-system based. Notice the Fire Staff (with the inherent poison reduction mentioned above) dropped with a Swift Staff Head attached. Normal areas producing inherent items never include Swift or Adept Staff Heads.

Hey, have the Locked Chests stopped spawning in the area? I dunno if it's just bad luck, but during my last three runs (one of which was last night), not a single locked chest has spawned in the Mausoleum. There hasn't been a new build that I've seen (in fact, I haven't closed the gw client in a few days, I've just signed off). Are you people still seeing locked chests spawn? I know there are probably only a few hours left in which to farm the area, but there's not much of a point if there are no chests.

Hmm. Odd. There were originally no locked chests at all, but one suddenly spawned/appeared when I clicked on a sarcophagus. Previously I'd been avoiding clicking on them so I wouldn't accidentally update the quest and have to abandon it. Besides the one that spawned, there were none.

I made 3 runs 1h ago, there spawned 1 chest per run.
And yes you can make more spawn by opening sarco's, but I advise against that. Any of them can appearently trigger completion of the quest. I had it complete last night upon opening sarco #2.

Both of those skins you highlighted are fairly common in EotN (the double sickle is especially easy to find), which is where the drop table for the mausoleum apparently originates from. This "dungeon" isn't really Prophecies, so what's considered "rare" in Proph has nothing to do with the mausoleum.
Oh, and Luny:
Off the top of my head, you can add the Iron Hammer and Draconic Spear skins to your list of available drops.

Well with everything gone now except the npc for skeles (wtf remove him also dammit) the quest "Commandeering a Mortal Vessel" has vanished from the active quests logs for any character that had it still. This means NO ONE can continue to farm there. Soooooo I think its safe to say the QQ's can stop. There is absolutely no item that is game breaking that came from there. Nothing needs to be fixed. Just relax and enjoy.

Also, regarding the fact that locked chests spawn when you click on a sarcophagus. This is not a unique occurence. Often quest updates and spawns will change the location of locked chests or "add" them in.

It was a teammate who got the Tribal Axe. His was gold, but he picked it up faster than I could snap a picture. I don't want to mention his name without his permission (but I know he's been watching this thread, so maybe he'll post.) I think it wasn't max, but I can't remember for sure. I didn't get a picture of it, though.
And no hard feelings! I don't take offense at "screenshot or it didn't happen."
EDIT - Oh, but to my understanding, there were never any triple-mod axes ... that was limited to Shields, Wands and Foci only. I'm interested to see if they let us keep our inherent mod versions of things which are normally only ever inscribable now.

After this new build to "Detect & Remove" items ?? Can anyone answer what exactly has changed to thier items ? Example if you had a Scythe or Spear with an inherent mod, was it switched to an inscription or was it deleted or just left alone ?

they remained the same for me. i think it's just to find the items and possibly remove them later. as of the moment, there have been no changes.

If you read more closely, this update was solely to identify the items - nothing else. I suppose once they have sorted out what they need to, they will then either remove or 'fix' the items.

Did one run and got a q10 fastcasting arcane scepter (ene +5^50, hct 10%, hcr 9%) and a q11 15^50 stoneshard hornbow.
