Name the dumbest thing you've done in GW.
Fox Reeveheart
I'll get us started.
Maybe 1-1.5 years ago or something like that, I sold a R9 tactics echovald shield +45hp (enchanted), -2 damage (stance).... for 5k
Here's the thing, I didn't know it was worth so much, I tried selling for so long and nobody would buy, so i'm thinking I was asking too much. One day I ask for 5k and one guy is all super surprised and buys from me... some months later I check and see the prices and my heart sinks ._. Oh I felt so horrible.
Yeah 100e may not be a gigantic amount to some of those that are buying in the high-end section, but to a casual player like me this is a MOUNTAIN of money.
Sucks because I want one now and prices are outrageous for it and it bugs me to this day.
Whats yours?

Kook~NBK~
I merched an Elemental sword about a week after Nightfall came out. At the time, I could have gotten 500k + for the ugly thing.
MArcSinus
I merched a real expensive BDS while working on Wisdom title in Rata Sum, the double clicking you know..
Warvic
Playing
Starting a Sin to get titles. Turned out to not be my favo proff. Cba to start over again (alrdy played since 05). So i never bothered with GWAMM. But i still think. If i would have made a warrior or ranger for the title hunting.. i could have made it till the end :O
Trading
Get gifts from 700 war supplies. The rewards from those gifts didn't make me happy. I could have made quite some money from those war supplies now!
But yeh nothing special. I never take risks. I always double check things before doing anything.

Lord Dagon
i sold an el gelatinous tonic for 5k.....(back when i was nooby and everyone told me green items were worthless.....)
Stolen Souls
Deleting two characters with FoW armor before HoM was introduced, and not bothering to get a new set while ectos were still cheap.
RedDog91
I sold 5 destroyer weapons for 20k each a week before HoM calculator came out.
End
AlyaraSaykomora
Merching a black dye my first day -.-;;;
Also, deleting multiple old characters because I didnt like the way they looked. (IT BUGS ME). I think I cursed myself. I've never even gotten a Gold Mini.

Karate Jesus
Probably something in PvP. I've done a lot of stupid shit in PvP.
Actually, we literally got bodyblocked today while the other team raped our Guild Lord, so that's probably one of the better examples of my daily hilarity that is Guild Wars.

intec
extracting upgrades from weapons, i accidentally clicked on a normal salvaged kit instead of a perfect one without knowing and extracted something from my req 9 VS and broke it...
gives me a sad face every time i think about that...

I don't think I've done colossal dumb things, more like a thousand smaller, stupid things. I'm pretty sure I've salvaged armor, sold/bought for way off market value (sold one of my Oppressor bows right before the HoM was announced, too).
Mostly it's just little stuff. Going somewhere and forgetting to bring something (Signet of Capture, collector item, etc.) or getting lost in an explorable area. I've also sunk lots of time into characters I end up deleting, I've literally gone through three mesmers and just can't stick with it. I also deleted a really old character, when I could have just bought an extreme makeover.

Skye Marin
Not really dumb, but there is plenty of stuff I'd do different if I knew what I know now:
-Deleting my first Ranger and Necro characters a few months before character slots where first introduced (remade the Necro later, but also deleted because I didn't like how she looked a few months before makeovers where introduced)
-Not getting into certain farming runs earlier (55 prot bond / smites would have been fun and crazy profitable)
-Not trying harder to get a better rank in HA earlier, or joining an HA guild
-Not buying up all the mini pigs I could get for 3k each, to get many more mini celestial pigs that could be sold for 300k each a week before the HoM calculator
-Buying tons of ectos before the price went back up most recently

Essence Snow
Unfotunately...going out getting drunk, comming home, logging on to GW, then proceeding to give away all my goodies. Log back on next day and find that I'm missing 8 el tonics like I did this morning.
Lest121
Deleting my Paragon (indomitable survivor) for an Ele, and i never played the Ele much....lol
Sagaris
Accidentally selling 79 ecto's the the merchant. I absolutely loathed myself afterwards.
Luminarus
5000 hours in guild wars.
LoneManWolf
the worst mistake i ever made with guild wars was buying the crappy game to begin with
Marty Silverblade
In addition to traditional annoying things like forgetting to bring a cap sig or have the appropriate secondary while skill capping, I've accidentally crafted two of the same armor peice, overwrote a Sup Vigor with another Sup Vigor, used the wrong salvage kit, among other things. Getting halfway through a vanquish and realising my attributes are in the wrong weapon line is always fun as well. Oh, and deleting a 2005 pumpkin hat that was customised to my deleted Mesmer one week before they added the hat npc was annoying. I'd been holding onto it for over six months thinking 'maybe I can do something with it' and trying to convince myself to delete it...

This is one of the most ridiculous things I've heard in a while, why are you on the games forum then? And not even a newly created account - you've got a lot of posts. If you don't like the game, then go and play something else.
Milennin
Ohh, I've done tons of dumb things...
-Selling a Draconic Aegis for way below street price.
-Salvaging a rune off 15K armour and causing its destruction (yes, that's quite a bit of money to me).
-Joining a team for a mission or something then realizing I forgot to change attribute points after switching builds.
-Or accidently loading the same Spirit build on my second Ritualist Hero and realizing that I did in the middle of a dungeon.
-Forgetting to turn Lightbringer on when going in the Domain of Anguish with Heroes and wondering why I do so much worse than the previous run, and realizing I forgot near the end of the run.
-Going into Random Arenas without bringing a Signet of Resurrection.
-When helping my friend with a quest, forgetting to change my build because I was still on a running build, making me practically useless the entire quest.
And probably many more things I can't remember right now.

Selling a stack of Granite for 3k the otherday, before I found that people were paying 11-13 for them. Cheeky bugger. I asked for 5, he said 3. I thought meh .
Killing my Survivor Characters 6 times before getting LS.

RedDog91
About a year ago my guild was getting ready to GvG.
While we were lounging around in the guild hall, I removed my ranger's chest armor and started dancing (for s***s and giggles). Well, the party leader hit the enter battle button and before I could tell him to stop so I could replace my shirt n opposing team was found.
I had to fight for 20 minutes with no chest armor...the part of the character that gets hit the most.

Shadow Dragon
oh you mean other than selling a full set of 15k armor to the merchant?
nope... can't think of a single thing...
nope... can't think of a single thing...
Artisan Archer
Didn't continue to GvG when I had the chance 4 years ago.
Voodoo Rage
I accidentally merched a pair of Asuran spectacles.
I once had a black dye drop near a portal and accidentally ported through it before I can pick up. (not really that dumb, I don't think I could have picked it up regardless)
Probably the dumbest thing I did was blow my fortune on a bunch of everlasting tonics not realizing that they were not limited release and that the same ones would keep coming out every year (dropping their long term value).

LordDragon
Merched a black dye in pre-searing. Then again it was just a week after the game came out.
Accidentally dropped a piece of elite armor in Tomb of the Primeval Kings seconds before a party wipe. I had the inventory open and accidentally grabbed the armor and dropped it.

Flagrant
I once merched q8 Darkwing Aegis because i needed money for id kit . It was about 4 months ago . I just auto - clicked sell and ...
Armageddon
gave away about 15 mini pets 2 month ago to various low lvl ppl
DigitalFear
We're so good at GvG, we even get bodyblocked like real pros!
subherbandog
Salvaged (and destroyed) a r9 VS for a 15^50 mod.
Boring and Pointless
A tie between these two things:
Buying a Storm Bow without an inherent mod for 80k back in the day.
&
Rune farm at ettins/tengu for months when Sup vigors & absorps were 100k each, gathering up Millions, only to eventually spend it all and nowdays having absolutely nothing to show for it. Perhaps due to doing stupid s**t like buying Storm Bow mentioned above.

Jugalo Dano
Salvaged atleast 2 sets of 15k that I can think of, they were rage salvages after armor broke trying to pull the vigor rune.
Merched an eaglecrest axe about 5 minutes after I got it, it was req 11 or 12 so I just thought it was fodder.
Sold my wintergreen bow for 10k. I had just returned to the game from an extended absence and was not aware the market for wintergreen stuff had gone way up.

Reading these makes me feel a little bit better. Just finished leveling my Rainbow Phoenix today.
Imagine the feeling when entering the HoM only to find you've done the wrong one. Then imagine that just the day before you were running alongside a guild mate who had the right one (Imperial). Apparently, I thought they were equal.

maddigit
Buying a Gwen mini pet when they first came out for 55 ectos because as my gf said at the time "I just have to have that".
Gabriel of Ravn
Accidently salvaged something off a Oppressor's prot staff without a perfect salvage kit and destroyed it. This was like the first week the weapons were out and of course couldn't dedicate it back then.
Lanier
Charlie Dayman
I know I've posted this before, but...
I merched a q9 Clockwork Scythe back in the day because I thought 500g was a lot of money.

Lortext
I dedicated my miniature Grawl
Errant Venture
Rerolled a PvP toon with 2 stacks of zkeys on it ^____^
