@Aero maybe, but i like this one better

and i think for blond hair it would be better to have lighter background, something like soft pink (pearls!! squeeeee ^^). And i fixed her face.

@Tommy yes, im not going to add any more red there, it wouldn't go well with all of the surrounding greens. Im just going to blend it a bit, it looks ok right now, but i prefer not to have many visible strokes, especially on her face

and wip (i call this one "5vs120 minutes of work D: " )

As for the next artwork, im going to take just a little break from birthstone series and paint something else (no, not the hunk, sorry girls :P ). Its going to be yet another girl, just this time i'll paint her without a sketch (like i did with hands on the emerald picture). I'll try to post more wips this time, since you guys always have helpful tips which contribute a lot to my improving *hug*

jokes on the side, i just hope i don't mess something up on the next one...

Speaking of which, here are 2 wips of the new painting. Its still a bit messy, but you get the idea. I find it easy to paint like this...

Updates. Well, the picture above is not finished, and its not going to be finished cuz i spent a lot of time on it and then .psd file decided to drop dead >_<

This is the last wip i have saved:

After that, i've fixed her face and started to work on her hands, but....

And i was still in the mood to paint something without a sketch, and this speed painting (1h and 30-40 minutes maybe) came to life:

Its not finished, but Im not going to work on it anymore.

And finally, something which is actually finished XD

Fly (i can sit and paint for a long time, but i can't think of a good title wtf? :\ ) can be seen here

Thats about it for the break from birthstones, next artwork will be 100% gemstone related

im having trouble deciding which haircut to leave on... Also, im painting this one completely in ps, i want to see how it will turn out and try to make it as realistic as possible. In case i fail, i'll paint everything from scratch in painter.

im using reference for this, and model on it doesn't wear make-up, she actually looks more innocent, and my version kinda looks... well not like that XD hmmm, maybe i should leave make-up out....
