Since I'm older than Sin (36) I have fond memories of boys in my teens doing windmills, back spins, headspins and the likes
and they certainly called themselves breakdancers
BBoy before you patronise others - you may want to remember that you didnt invent the wheel you know

And seriously bboy if you were that condescending to people in real life you'd have no friends... don't treat people like that... they deserve to be treated like they have a brain at least. ubermancer
White Mantle. White Cloaks.
Wheel of Time, by Robert Jordan. Almost identical. Svinat
I don't know if anyone have posted this before, but the pvp build, Abominable Snowman (am I spelling it right) is probably from
The Abominable Snowman by Jean Michelle Jarre. JMJ has also got a song called: "A Love Theme For Gargoyles". SincorpDeath
Does anyone know where i can see the summoner end video? I beat it a long time ago, but I can't find my cd, nor do i want to beat it again.

One of the NPCs in Lion's Arch is named Merkin, which is a word that means "pubic hair wig".
In the beta, grawls were called 'trogs', and the grawl ulodyte was instead called 'trog ulodyte', which is a play on words. (troglodyte = early human) Guardian of the Light
The NEW skill in C2 called "None Shall Pass!" is form Monty Python and the Holy Grail when the Black Knight says it.

That could only be found by locating one specific pixel. I need to see if I can't find my Atari now... T_T
Shith Mal Hacto- Isn't that one of the phrases from 'The Day the Earth Stood Still'? Ictu Berrada Nicto! But I could've sworn Shith Mal Hacto came up there, too... Edit: Also, Gandalf (LotR movie, anyhow) uses 'None Shall Pass'... Mournblade
Actually Gandalf says, "You shall not pass!"
![]() I remember Adventure so well... I played for hours just to find where to get that dang pixel. =) Miakoda
I thought easter eggs were supposed to be hidden extras?
I wouldn't consider dance emotes as easter eggs.. Or any obvious fact for that matter. rollntider

Oh... and Grawl? It means bad things. ultimate2
Doppleganger is a Yu-Gi-Oh! Card
Pi_Numurian
I think it would be cool
Hanso Togakure
A doppleganger isnt native to yu-gi-oh, cmon man. Dopplegangers are in all sorts of stuff.
Knido
comeon A-Net! this game is rated "T"! you shouldnt have grawls and hammers in the same enemy!
MMSDome
William Pennington in Kessex Peak is close to William Penn the man Pennsylvania was named after...

Or any obvious fact for that matter. The emote itself may not be, but the reference could be. This doesn't seem to be purely about eggs anymore anyway, but references. Abominable Snowman from Jarre? I know there are many young people here and in game, but some of these things are basic history and mythology dating back from waaay before anything you can pin point as recent reference. Many of the things seen as current origination are actually references to older things or just common parts of societal knowledge now that wouldn't even be considered references anymore. A doppelganger is just a word, it has a meaning: http://dictionary.reference.com/sear...q=doppelganger It is just an appropriate name, not a specific reference, and certainly not just a y-g-o reference. If anything from recent use it would be from Zelda. rohar

There's a collector in Ascalon who's last name is Osbourne.I think it may have been a reference to Ozzy Osbourne. I know of an easter egg,but I can't remember it...
Legacy Virus
well...if you guys have seen the 8 bit D & D thing, they not only have the ogre slaying knife, they also have the darkness "im attacking the darkness" and out in kryta one time i found a collector named galstaff the light, so there are quite a few refrences to 8 bit d and d

Only if that NPC was:
A) Shouting "SHARON!" B) Getting interrupted by Cry of Frustration constantly C) Biting the heads off bats D) Was singing a rock and roll song E) Walking slow or falling out of a chair. A name alone doesn't mean a reference. I ran into an NPC named Bob. That must be a reference to my best friend Bob or maybe Hurricane Bob!!! Easter Eggs everywhere! /sarcasm. For a name to be a valid reference it should also have another link beyond the name. For example, I would consider a pig in presearing named Wilbur or a spider named Charlotte (There is a spider named Carlotta (spanish for Charlotte)) to be a reference/egg to another well known pig/spider with an identifiable name. If the Enchanter henchman were named Tim that would a true Monty Python reference. anubis_master

Yeah, that symbol inside Menhlo's shirt is the Ohm symbol. I believe it is sanskrit.
Edit: Chakra is sanksrit as well. It means wheel I think. |
