oh come on. You can NOT deny what you can see clearly with your eyes. Devona, BAD GIRL!!!

That may just be the way the light reflects off of the armor. However, no denying what it seems. Good eye, or just a perv?

MMMM hooray for boobies Well, it's like that in all of the environments I've seen Devona in: Pre-searing, post-searing outside of the Serenity Temple, the Mountains, Kryta, so on.... and it wasn't I that discovered it myself. I had it pointed out to me by a friend. :P
and yes, horray for boobies. Even I, a girl, can appreciate a nice--
okay, I better stop.

I agree with totally agree with everything you have to say. Oh yeah, big props for the reference find. And is it me, or is the shouting of Leroy Jenkins all drawn out the most annoying thing to ever happen in the history of gaming. People use it all the time, and so out of context that I might just kill myself. jk.
For real though we all need to stop any bickering, and come together for the sole purpose of purging the world of this menace. -my two cents-

Ow c'mon. The video was just meant to mock uber-serious gamers (I hope we all know that it was a setup) and in this it really excels. Sometimes even our guildmembers shout the Leeroy batllecry when they charge into battle - it's OK as long as it's not over-used.
Btw. May "Ventari" be hommage to Lord Vetinari from the Discworld novels written by Terry Pratchett?

I think he's reffering to the see thru nature of the armor...read: nipples
though I somehow doubt that was the intention from the developers... Charcoal Ann
Abaddon's Mouth.

Place of destruction certainly fits the area of Abbadons Mouth. Barinthus

Mad King Thorn makes a reference to "Smells like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana and "Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats.
Teen Spirit: "I can smell the team spirit" after the instructions to use the /goteam emote Safety Dance: "If you don't dance then you're no friend of mine" after the instructions to use the /dance emote Zexion
He actually said "Yes! It even smells like team spirit!"... A more direct reference.
And he made a "knock knock" joke too:P _Zexion Iere
Am I the only one who sees the connection between the Lyssa murals and the Siamese from Kabuki?
http://www.assembled.net/kabuki/remi...ack/blck11.jpg there's a better picture, but I really don't feel like scanning in my graphic novel. knoll

In Hotsprings there is an NPC Named Joseph Lamen AKA Joe Lamen or Average Joe.

Just did Hell's Precipice last night for the 3rd time and noticed the Lich King chanting in what seems to be a reversed (or backmasked) sound clip just at the end of the 1st cutscene when he's summoning more titans. If anyone has the time or resources to do it I'd really like to find out what was in that clip. Probably need some external recording source then some software to reverse the soundclip.

In Sorrow's Furnace one of the Dredge slaves who's just walking around wonders whether female Dwarves have beards too. Lord of the Rings reference.
In another place a Dredge slave is saying "The Dredge united, will never be defeated". A play on the popular protest slogan (the people united, will never be defeated) which fits with the theme of the Dredge trying to fight for their freedom from the Stone Summit. cup-o-noodles

Possibly a reference to the band "Earth, Wind & Fire"; which would sync with the pre-searing hunters' blood, sweat, tears, as the band "Blood, Sweat & Tears" is from the same era. "I Will Avenge You!" is a line said by Khan in Star Trek 2. "Fear me!" tickles the memory, but I can't think of what that is from ATM. Ok people, besides maybe the band ones, those are not fricken references to ANYTHING. If you either see victory in sight or you win a battle what's a logical thing to say? "Victory is mine!" You want to avenge a fallen ally you say? "I Will Avenge You!" , yeah that seems about right. They're not references, just typical phrases you hear in the middle ages or a setting like it(just like tyria). w00t!
Don't know if anyone posted this, but during Halloween, during Mad King says, after the /goteam emote, the Mad King said "Smells like team spirit!", an obvious Nirvana reference.
Xenrath
The Mad King's Guards during the Halloween event could be added to your party and went out adventuring with you
Nisha
This might be old, but there's a collector in Kryta named Isabeaux Navarre who might be a reference to the classic fantasy movie Ladyhawke. It was one of Michelle Pfeiffer's early roles and she played the heroine who was named Isabeaux and her knight, most likely later her husband, was Captain Navarre.
TheMisanthrope
Gwen -> Newg.
New Game. Coincidence, most likeley. Anyone named Ema around there in the game? I better lay of the THC for a while. Hypermonkeyman
Probly already said but to lazy to read all the posts in the mission were u defend confesor dorian if u look around there are i think 4 mursat things that jade armors come out of possibley first hint of the later mursat & white mantle alience
Bleaked
Has this hidden area been mentioned yet?

I don't know if this is still true (been a while since I've been in pre) but if you go to the very top of the stairs in ascalon behind the NPC who gives you the poison devourer quest you will see the kings name show through the wall. Now if you turn to your right and run to that wall you will see the kings name show again. Meaning there are two kings in pre. Once again I'm not sure if he's still there and I unfortunately do not have a screenshot but if any of you have pre characters I suggest checking it out

Also, I would like to settle one thing that keeps re-appearing on the forum. Charr is not a reference to Transformers or the word char. The people that made GW were a bunch of ex-blizzard people, and while they were at Blizzard they worked on Starcraft. In Starcraft, the homeworld of the Zergs is named Charr. There, it is settled. Don't know if this was mention or can be consider an easter egg, but I think Little Thom's name is an oxymoron. Thom in Cambodian means large, therefore little large. Also, he is chubby and it explains why they gave him the name.
