Easter Eggs

- This one might not be an easter egg, but am I the only person who is convinced there are some facial likenesses in the game? For example...

Ghostly Hero = Al Borland from Home Improvement.
and...
Aidan = Tommy Lee Jones?!
Little Thom = Super Mario!

A whole lot of the Shout skills are references. For Great Justice and To The Limit have already been mentioned. Another is Victory is Mine!, which is something baby Stewie likes to say on Family Guy. I didn't read all the post, but this was one I did read. If you look at it this way, what isn't an easter egg? :rolleyes

I posted this elsewhere but it bears repeating - In the Ice Cave mission ending cutscene Evennia (in white) is escorted by 7 dwarves.

also, anyone remeber the old red box DnD? wasnt the healer cleric in that named Alesia? (who gets killed ether way you chose the storyline, so heheh...thats our alesia hehe) Sorry, her name is Aleena not Alesia. Good guess/try however

Here's one for you to figure out... when you run into the first boss in Hell's Precipice, as you get within visual range, he shouts out "Shith Mal Hacto!" and all the surrounding bad guys start mobbing inward. They then start fanning out again. (behaviour much like Mantle in Riverside when a tower spots you.) It sounds latin, but I have no clue. My luck it's like an LoD reference for Hacto and his island with the lava dragon. Shith has a ton of references, none which seem appropriate to me.

Any ideas? Tough one, but I'll give it a shot.

Did a little research and this is what I came up with... bear with me it's pretty involved.

Shith: According to theosophists, "re'shith" or "rasit" (Hebrew) was the first word used by God at creation. It implies wisdom. Also, as noted earlier, "ray-sheeth" is interpreted as "beginning" or "genesis." All in all, the impression I came up with is that of a "thoughtful, considered process of creating."

Mal: "male" is Latin for "ill" as in "evil" or "vile." It also implies violence, so I figure it may interpret that way for this expression.

Hacto: Latin for "hitherto; up to this point; so far" Self explanatory

So, my thought is this: perhaps this character is issuing an implied challenge. "Shith mal hacto" could mean "You've only just begun to fight." Mixing Hebrew and Latin disturbs me, though it's not unheard of, especially in the occult: Hebrew = the language of the chosen people of God, Latin = the traditional language of the orthodox Catholic/Christian church.

Sorry for the long post. Thoughts?

Again; An "easter-egg" is something placed into the game that can be "unlocked" by doing a specific in-game sequence. Incorrect. Easter-eggs are anything added to the game that reference something else, whether they need to be unlocked or not. Sometimes they are things that just need to be "found" by going to a certain remote loaction.

The first Easter Egg in a video game was in the old Atari game Adventure, where ther author added an extra room with his own "signature".

In, Northlands -The Northest bridge has some doors that are open, and gets closed when approched. Perhaps there is some trick getting past them, or preventing them from closing. But I dont know. You need two people for this: one to pull the lever, while the other runs through the gate to zone.
