Did any of you actually notice the extra room on either side of the Character Selection screen? Room enough for 2 more charaters... Think expansion packs people. What are the most enticing things about expansion packs. New Items? New Areas? and... and... NEW CLASSES. The extra character slots will come when the new classes are introduced.

Hm, I disagree with adding more player slots. If it's really a problem, then just delete an old character. Don't forget, ANet has to pay for your storage space for all these new characters - so why the hell should you get it for free?
I know it's already been mentioned, but there IS NO monthly fee, so if you're really that hardcore, then spend the equivalent of a months fees and buy a new account. If I run out of space then that is what I will do.

You really need more than 4 characters because all 4 of mine are RP just to unlock all the skills so that I MIGHT have the chance to be good in PvP and be able to use more than one build.. And I dont really want to throw away all of them after all of that work. I say that if they cant stretch to 8 then 6 would be a compromise.

8 is a bit too much. With that they'd HAVE to increase storage space, and that could have other problems.
While 4 is balanced, and you can have a little of everything, 6 would be nice too, so you can have one of each primary. I'm content with my 4 characters now, N/R, W/Mo, Mo/W, and E/Me, but I don't have a PvP slot anymore, and while I don't really wanna try Mesmer in PvE, it seems like a blast in PvP. 1 more slot with Chapter 2 at least plz.

I want at least one more. Just one. I currently use 3 PvE characters and 1 PvP character. I get bored of remaking my PvP character to experiment. Even if you gave us an in-game skill calculator thing that would be good.
But I can wait for the expansion, which is supposed to have more character slots.

COMPLETELY YES I NEED MORE CREATION ROOM. ive made 3 rpg chars and i cant fit pvp chars in very well i have to keep deleting them and starting all over and if i made a new rpg char i wouldnt be able to make any pure pvp chars with leaves me stuck i dont wanna delete my rpg chars whom ive worked so hard on

I don't do PVP and only do PVE. I have to delete my characters that I've poured hours of work into to make a new one. 10 or 12 is too much -until- the expansions, 6 is plenty with one PVP exclusive spot. Make sense?

I d like to give a try at Ranger, i wont delete a char that has learned tons of skills and done almost all quests, not mentioning the 15k armor ...

I think the number 6 would be great. 4 right now is driving me crazy because I want to use my 3 fav characters to RPG and 1 for pvp. But I won't be able to pvp if I use my 4th slot to get more skills unlock...Considered signed.

As much as I would love to have more than 4 slots, I would feel that more problems would occur. Takes more servers, more bandwith, etc. I feel that more scammers would come around. As much as it may seem silly, if some of you have been wanting runs, and get scammed twice in a row, possibility person switched characters. I'm sure all of us would like more room for characters, but should give credit to Anet for already giving us a great game, and working hard to keep it up and working.
