The Infinite Representation Of Pie And Its Many Brilliances

Absolutely wonderful additions.

My favorite is of course, the new signet of capture system. This way you'll never capture the wrong skill. Just kill the boss and choose yer skill, awesome.

Yeah I saw and loved the changes, especially with the signet of capture and villany of galrath, thats one old mission that I just didn't bother with and left but now I will try since the exp is great! Plus the henchmen tweaks are good, it happens too often that they flippin ran off to fight those monsters again, hell once the mage flew over the mountains...funny glitch.

I wonder what they gonna do about the farming thing though...still unclear what they plan to do.

"Changed the way armor infusion quests work. The seer now infuses all of your currently worn pieces of armor, but the infusion effect is slightly reduced in power in order to preserve the intended challenge of the following missions."


I"m kind of worried about this. I know they attempted to fix it so you didn't have to redo same mission over and over, time in and time out. If the reduce the effectiveness of the infused armor how will it make game more challenging. I think even when infused you still got hurt. I fail to see the correlation between making you run through 5 times and keeping intended challenge to next missions by have lowered infused pieces. I don't know how much different damage is as I've yet to log on, but it is something to be aware of. Challenge doesn't come from running 5 times, it comes from other things.

Added the option of attaching Collectors Edition account keys onto existing retail accounts to unlock the Divine Aura.

I don't think he was saying it wasn't a necesary change.. more like now that they have taken a major step in the direction they needed to.. how long will it take before SOME people complain that they still don't have their UAS or have everything they want NOW..NOW...NOW!!!!!

It is an unfortunate fact that there are still gonna be whiners and complainers too used to instant gratification.

Personally I think it's all good what they've done.. and seems like there is more on the way..

Its probably for those people with too-much-money who bought a Collector's Edition after buying a regular GW.

Increased reward for quest "The Villainy of Galrath" from 500 XP to 4000 XP.

All I have to say to this is OH MY GODS! O_O;

And I'm sitting here hyper as ever reading these. The BEST damn update so far, I love how they've changed Capture Signet, oh happy happy joy joy, stop me before I have a heart attack of sheer happiness! O_O;

Bleh, I kinda liked the old system, now there's really no difference between capturing an elite and just having it bought straight from an NPC =/

Darn, they fixed Vengeance too, I was having fun with that bug with henchies ^^

Oh well, hmm, anyone know what the price the NPC trader buys and sells runes at?

Was this crafter outside of sanctum cay just added in the patch? I don't remember him being there before. He sells nicer stuff than the crafter at oasis.

He's been there for a while now, since beta I believe. But he had nothing to craft last time I saw him. Maybe they added it.

I have a question about the new capture signet system. I've beaten the game and am going back through the game capturing elites I have not gotten. I still haven't gotten barrage yet Anyway, from what I remember, the mission "Iron Mines of Moladune" end when you kill Markis, how do I get barrage? Or is my memory slipping and will I have time to get it.

I agree with most of the updates, but what the hell is with the SoC change? It kinda takes the fun out of Elite runs. That kind of pisses me off, Elites should be hard to get. The game seams to be slowly getting easier and easier to play, like how they significantly lowered the level of the boss in the Ranger quest at Yak's Bend. At least they fixed infusion.

The game was always easy, it's just winning it only gave you a small chance of getting the reward. They're cutting down on that. There is no challenge in doing something 99 extra times - doing it once proved that you can do it.

If only this update could of happened BEFORE i ran through the ring of fire mission, tried to capture Ether Prodigy, and then my henchmen killed the boss before i could.

but without the grind, there's nothing to do...

i loved how soc works now

yet, some other stuff was just stupid

if they don't want some people to farm like crazy

LOWER THE DROP RATE

don't make monsters strong as crazy

go try to kill jades alone now they are crazy (i just went to iron mine for cap a skill and 1 jade kills hench with 2 hits)

1 jade killed 5 of my henches and not to mention all monsters got re-arranged
plus now they are bunch of more jade and mursaats in very small passageway

i'm very frustrated atm !! omg they got the whole concept backward

lower the drop rate ! don't make monsters stronger !
i gotta report this right now

ok, they change it back, how many people will be unhappy then? you seem to be the only one not happy with this update.

I never said I was unhappy with the update. It fixed a lot of major issues. I just don't like how they broke the SoC.

Just wow. Never witnessed any game where the ideas from the common player are made into the game this way.

I herby say thanks and i hope you never stop doing it because some ppl complain always.

I myself ralrly cared about elite skills because the capture system was to casual-player unfriendly. Now everyone can get them.

The only way to stop farming is to make it unnecessary. Lowering the drop rate will just make people farm harder.
