And you were the one saying "Another one taking online gamming too far".
First off, By continuesly posting arguments, you are encouraging Hellraiser to post. If you want to prove your point, leave it alone. There are always going to be people who will continuesly try to insult others, and try to gain some sort of pride from that.
One, or even five people can't change an online community consisting of over 100,000 people. Trust me... I was one who hated all the dupes on Battle.net, and i played completly legit, i tried to get people to stop using dupes, and hacks, theres no point trying. And, before you ask me, what does this have to do with insults, it doesnt, but its the same general idea.
But, i completly agree with everything being said. If you are insulting someone in the game, you might as well come right up to their face and say it. You make the choices, not the computer, not Arena.Net. Personnaly, i've learnt to tune out the insultes, but, i know it must feel degrading when you have people calling you Noob, because you made a mistake, or failed to live up to the expected standards of everyone else.
Another point i would like to bring up is the scamming. I despise scammers. Coming from the Battle.net d2 Trade forums, i've seen lots of it. HellRaiser, there are many reasons not to trust people in game, personnaly, i dont trust anyone, but thats not a reason to have to prove it to them, by scamming them. The people who take the game seriously, are the people who think they need to scam, to be better then everyone. You shouldnt care wether or not your better, taken from your own words, its just a game.
Sorry... i had to jump in. But, seriously, just drop this.
