You will find your gift on the first character you bring into the game after we are able to implement this feature. We anticipate we will have these gifts ready within the next 10 days. And don't worry – all who purchase a Collector's Edition will receive a Thank You Gift! |

I don't see what Viruzzz said at all...

Factions CE buyers, we have great news! To show our appreciation for your support and patience as you wait for your CE to arrive, we decided yesterday afternoon to create a special Collector's Edition Thank You Gift. When you activate your Factions Collector's Edition access key, you will receive an in-game gift box containing a miniature of the dragon Kuunavang! Double click the box to reveal your miniature dragon. The gift will be one per account and will function like a Birthday Miniature. That is, they will be tradable, sellable (for in-game currency only!), or exchangeable between your characters. You will find your gift on the first character you bring into the game after we are able to implement this feature. We anticipate we will have these gifts ready within the next 10 days. And don't worry – all who purchase a Collector's Edition will receive a Thank You Gift! |

not to be greedy, but i kinda hope there is a deadline. then there would be less of theese things floating around. makes it a little more special for the ones that actually did have to wait, not just to any mofo who jumped on the bandwaggon when they heard the ce was comming with this.

I put in a pre-order for the CE, and I'm willing to bet that I will have to wait that long to play because my retailer is incompetent.
I don't see it on the main site, so it should not be taken seriously until a valid link is provided.
Mordakai
A deadline would be so wrong.
The first batch of CEs are already sold out in some areas, some people wil have to wait until June 30 for the second batch!
Two months without Factions?!? They deserve TWO Dragons!

but of course, they're not gonna limit theese until everyone has had a fair chance at getting a CE & a dragon. But if they let it go too long, then you can say goodbye to your special dragon, cause it'll be as cool as poop

will the big minipets be a help or an hindrence?
for one thing you could accidentally think the dragon were the ranger's phoenix pet and attack it in the HEAT of the battle, and get the smack down a second before you realize your mistake, that you can't attack that dragon
anyway, interesting

People spending extra money on CE to support the developers of the game and in return get items that may be worth a good sum in game, or people using that extra money and use fleabay or other sources to buy gold? We all know it's against the policy, but does it stop everyone from doing so? Just like we all know what the speed limit is when we're driving, but are we all going to be doing that? And stop saying you get those extra junk with the boxes. I can bet you those extra junk doesn't cost anywhere near $20-30 for those items. Stickers, book, cd, etc... figure out the costs of those items and you'll be surprise those extra items only costs $2 or so to make. I'm sure the marketing for the game costs way more.

Seeing as how the birthday mini's are random and how one person might want a turtle while the other wants a hydra, but they both get something different, I think it's totally acceptable that they're tradeable. Might as well give us the oppertunity to get what we want, instead of being stuck with a bone when we want crackers. And, because of suppy and demand they're gonna cost a ton, but after 1 year, they'll be as cheap as dirt. Every fad comes and goes just like the last one. This too will pass. But i agree with anet on their decision to make mini's tradeable. Analogy: Why trap us in a mud hole when they dont know if we like being dirty or not?
EternalTempest
Here the pic so people can see this cute dragon so people can see it in the forum
kaya
when looking at it with the ranger sitting next to it, it still looks pretty big. I wonder if they scaled it down the same as they did the other mini's. cause that would still make it pretty big. But anywho the size looks good.

OMG I can't sleep now :S
Can't wait for this and my birthday gift both allmost at the same time.

hehe funny BOB, baby steps BOB. or in this case with wings, fly low BOB.
yes I will have to get the ce now, was goign to be a week before i get game, tight on money but now have to fork over a tad more for the dragon. When they asked what new pets the ranger should get, I asked for the dragon seeing they doing heavy asian theme, and I had one already in EQ2.
later and enjoy him, BOB that is.

Am I the only one not excited about this? I freaked when I 1st found out about the mini pets, got myself a shiro and bone dragon, and honestly am very dissapointed. You can't use them in towns. They dont do anything aside from hang around. Usually when I am outside im busy fighting and noone cares about this little thing moving around. I actually got yelled at in a group the other day because my bone dragon makes noise. So I dont use it anymore. If you could use them in towns, that would completely change their lack of appeal for me.
Diablo???
These mini pets are the same as the mini pets in WoW, they've always been neutral and just hung around. Although if they can appear in town, it would be kick ass, but I'm sure there's legit reasons why they cannot appear in town.
Cygnus_Zero
Yeah im sure they have a reason. But because of that, I completely lost interest in them. They were cool for about 2 days. I think the Kuunavang is a nice thank you gift, but I cant get over the fact that you can't use them in towns.

It's nothing to fret over, it's the way things work with everything in this game, and it's not a valid reason to make anything non-transferable.
