Man, Danika sounds like she is in the wrong time period! And Elder Rhea sounds as old and withered as she looks, about 135! Kuunavang sounds like he OR she's got a sore throat. The Teller's voice is annoying enough as it is, did they really have to have her repeat stuff in Shiro's flashback? I think Danika takes the cake for me. sheesh, sounds like a yank from the bronx,

Danika, definetly. I was expecting her to have a kind of a sweet, husky voice with maybe an accent to boost when I first saw her, but... the moment she opened her mouth and started talking, I was just dumbstruck. The voice didn't suit her at all.

It's interesting but I've never actually heard Danika's voice, even after going through Factions several times. I just never have the voice sound on because I usually listen to music on winamp. I have heard Shiro, however, and I think he has the worst voice ever. Dear god, what were they thinking?

Danika is the worst. The Guard in the first cut scene when you get to Minister Cho's Estate is pretty bad too, same with Shiro. Hell, screw it, most of the voice overs in Factions are embarrassing.

Honestly, at its best GW creates vistas so beautiful as to make you weep, but the writing and voice acting are so nearly universally bad as to make you cry in pain and beg for it to stop. It's so bad it's gone straight through that "So bad it's good, in a sickly amusing kind of way" zone and come back around to "I'll puncture my own eardrums before I'll listen to Shiro again!'.
It is fortunate indeed that GW is a game where the story and cut scenes matter little, if at all.

Gotta be Danika. Unfortunatly for me I alo love Japanese Animation so I get the same voice actress in some of the anime that I watch. "MUST TURN VOLUME DOWN BEFORE EARDRUMS POP".
On a side note the number of voice actors is not very large and a lot of companies use the same voice actors a lot. If there were more voice actors then maybe we could get better voice acting but it is a hard and demanding job.

There are a TON of voice actors. A few only do certain venues. But there are the many more popular voice actors that do everything and get paid really well to do it. Just like there are a ton of regular actors, of WHICH you will only see a handful of in Movies and Television that get paid really well also.
If I had to count all of the agencies that handle voice acting talent, I couldn't even count them on my hands and toes. All of those agencies has a lot of talent also.
Though there is more to voice acting than just giving someone a paper and telling them to say the words. Which means you cannot blame that one actor alone for what you think is a bad production.
Not to mention that liking the voice of a fictional character is severely subjective.

One of the first Kuzick voices you hear and she looks very dark and gothic and then you get a teenage squeaky girl voice.
I don't usually pay a lot of attention to voice acting but the first time I heard here I said to myself - "that's just not right"

Yeah, so i'm too lazy to read all pages... but, even though it's not in Factions, I gotta say I *really hate* the voice of the Ghostly Hero. That's the most irritating, uncomfortable, disgusting, wierd, voice I've ever heard. I enjoy cutscenes but click "skip" as fast as I can during those missions. Ewwww!!!
