I heard someone mourning Mingus after one of the recent updates, I think they might have actually taken him out, saying he was a bugged NPC. This might be the reference:
"Removed an NPC who had no functionality from Stingray Strand."
That was fromt the March 2 balance update.

anyone seen gwen from inside ascalon? in pre of course. if u go to where rurik is, the press 'alt' u will see Gwen, surrounded by 3 ascalon guards. this confused me.

Formed a ELITE group to clear all of UW. We did all quests and killed all monsters and when we happened to be passing by the start of UW we noticed our dear friend GWEN waiting for us. Anyone else get this? The funny thing is that when we tried to talk to her she did not respond.???? So she really is an unfinished quest.???

accept the quest Finding Gwens Soul, goto the plains, ill clear the area, shw pops up...;.

The crafter isn't bugged. It's just that he only crafts armor for casters. If you talk to him with a warrior or ranger he won't let you craft anything. He crafts near max armor (57 AL) for 1k + crafting materials.

OMG that wallpaper is creepy. Hey, anyone remember that area outside of Fort Ranik in pre? Kind of like a secret forest or soemthing. Maybe that has something to do with it. And u ever break red iris down? Red means the color or resembling blood. Iris was the goddess of the rainbow and messenger of the gods. Maybe gwen worships some kind of blood goddess or IS a blood goddess zomg! That would kinda explain that creepy wallpaper.

When you get on your char again it will have transformed into a Gwen.
Gwen is a very imba profession with such skill as "Randomly stand around not helping", "Heal 20 whenever I feel like it", and "Spin in a circle while the Me/W gets owned in front of her very eyes".
If you guys attempt this and mess up your cd will blow up and it will delete it's self from your computer, FBI agents will walk into your house and inject something into your neck making you forget your CD key if for some insane reason you had memorized it.
Everything you touch will turn to ash and jesus will spit in your face.

Is Mingus the Meek still active, south of Fisherman's Haven? I saw plenty of bosses, but I didn't attack the whole region... and none of them dropped a cloak. Has anyone found the Dead Flower yet?

About your first question there Alchemist, there was an update some time ago that said something to the effect of "Removed a useless NPC in Stingray Strand." I think that was referring to Mingus. :/

I think it is possible that the mystery of Gwen will be solved in some upcoming chapter but it may be that there is no reward attached. I would still want to know. It is like Richard Kimball's one-armed man, or going to Oz to see the Wizard.
