OMG The Prices!

Whoa...

Heh, just my luck: the first time in a few weeks I decide not to spend all the night after work playing GW, and that's the day when the prices dive. I should have made a prediction last night or something, since I knew I'd be cooling down today.

I just hope some of my friends were playing when it happened and can slip me a few cheap runes...

they are sucking up the gold that was farmed before nerfs. after the reset and alot of gold is sucked up prices will stay lower. since people are on a buying frenzy there will be plenty of a supply for players to buy from each other at fair prices.

I wouldn't say the rich get richer, except that I only have about 6k to my name, and I can finally get the Superiors I need for my Ranger, Mesmer, and Swordsman builds. (and a couple of major vigors to boot)

My guildies made me realise, now that prices through all 3 regions are normalised, why not add traders to the International Districts too? Wouldn't make a difference anymore right?

Nice, there goes one of my gold sources. Merging trader prices. Used to buy ecto 12k each at america and sell it for 15-16k in europe for traders.

Come on people, share the wealth.

Was that a server-side update? I was in-game the whole time and didn't get a message about a new build.

anet just updated traders for a bit all runes were 100g so i bought 10 sup vigors and 10 sup absorbtions. all i have to do is wait for prices to return to normal and im set for life.

I'm fairly sure they changed the drop rates as well. I just got two gold drops in half an hour.

Not sure about others, but I blew 180 plat in short order. I'm guessing others are also spending madly, it's a buyers' market right now.

As for who's turning a profit, no one yet, not in terms of plat anyway. But yes, people who previously couldn't afford some things can now take advantage of the lower prices to get them. So I guess the poor are profiting from this. Unless you mean the poor sod who's trying to sell his black dye for 25 plat after hearing stories of how black is so treasured post-searing.

i got to the trader just a little late :S i bought 45 ecto and 44 shards... anyone want to donate 1 shard to me? [the price litterally skyrocketed on the last shard o.o]

Heehee, I brought 10 supperior vigors and sold them before anyone notcied. Funny too, I was at draknors forge's arena and I notcied a rune trader there. I didnt notice him before so i decided to buy something, and lo and behold the prices were so cheap. I thought it wa only that one so I brought 10 surperiro vigors and sold them 50k each. Im loaded for life.


Too bad I didnt go for the ectoplasim or dyes. Black dyes are 7k!
