Elite skills locations !

Okay guys, I came here to sign up and post as I just found this out (and my guild leader told me... stupid fat cat). I got Aura of the Lich today in a manner of luck, and you'll probably need to verify it as the details will be pretty vague until I go on the mission again. Well the mission I found it on was Hell's Precipice, and in a manner of luck I found it on a necro titan boss (I believe it was the one that can be avoided, but I think placements are random anyway). Anyhow hope that helps, and as I said I'll post its name down once go through the mission again.

ADD: Alright, his name is Malif Libero and he's the boss that you can avoide after defeating the first. Hope that helps.

I'm really looking for Battle Rage, can anyone give me any leads/locations?

Battle rage is one of those thats unfound at the moment. However, I have a couple of ideas where it could be.

1. Pinesoul Warrior boss in Frozen Forest. He doesn't seem to have an elite, so a warrior spamming SOC could find a stance or something. He may spawn at these locations

2.Troll Warrior in Snake Dance and Talus Chute. He also doesn't sem to have an elite, so another warrior spamming session would be very useful. He spawns HERE and HERE. I forget his name. Basically he is the one that ISN'T Whuup Buumbuul :-)

If a warrior could go on a spamming session on both of those and find out what they have, that would be great :-) cause noone seems to know yet.

I have gone on a spamming session for both of these bosses -- and coincidentally, I had the EXACT same idea as you have, several days ago

However, someone on The Guild Hall JUST posted that they captured BR from Smurkk Foombul (well, he didn't state the name, but I'm assuming it's this) in Snake Dance; just responded asking him for details, since after going back I'm still not getting anything from him. -Aries

I got Melandru's Arrows around Thunderhead and Barrage right before Thunderhead, forgot the exact name of the boss. Actually I got Melandru's Arrows on accident, all I saw was that he was a boss but did not see him shooting arrows till the last minute. lol

Barrage: Abadon's Mouth-Snyk the hundred Tounge-Crag Behemoth(burrower)

going back hopefully the restore condition and fevered dreams boss will be found this time

Was told restore condition is off blue spider in Abbadons mouth. Havent confirmed myself cause they said you have to keep other spiders around alive and weakened, poisoned etc so it will cast it. I havent gotten a group willing to do that yet(they always kill all other spiders). I'll post again if I get lucky. But just letting you all know.

I just found another Poison Arrow on my way out to grab Victory is Mine. The bosses name is Kekona Pippip. Here is a pic of the boss casting it and a pic of the map....

Fevered dreams: abaddon's Mouth -Plexus Shadowhook-dryder spider

Soul Leech: abaddon's Mouth -Goss Darkweb-dryder spider

Oath Shot: Iron Mines of Moladune - Hillios The Dutiful [Jade Bow I believe]

Restore Condition: abaddon's Mouth -Spindle Agonyvein-dryder spider

Users at guildhall have found battle rage its on a Mountain troll warrior boss in Snakes dance/Tauls Chaute dont have name but seen screen shots seem legit.

That leaves four Elite skills unaccounted for

Ranger
Crippling Shot
Punishing Shot

Warrior
Defy Pain
Warriors Endurance

We also have a few bosses that are the most likely canidates of having these skills

Warrior Bosses
Custodain Dellus (Elona Reach)/ Whats his Name (Thirsty River)

These 2 Warrior Bosses spawn in Crystal Desert Missions while its possible that they might not have any elites but I doubt it since every other Boss there has one. They have the Same Skill sets as Enchanted Swords and due to their frequent spaming of thrill of victory and their tough armor leads me to beleive they have Defy Pain. with no cast time for defy pain i might be that he casts thrill of virture riight after using defy pain so it might need to be a very very fast capture. Maybe Spamming SoC is less Important but rather the timing of it it. This is just a guess. If he doesnt have defy pain get an Mesmer to drain his energy and Spam SoCs that should trigger warriors endurance.

Obrhit Barkwood-Pinesoul(frozen Forest) I fought him many times never seen him seen skill used by him With warrior endurance and Defy Pain the only skills left. Probbaly the best way to find out what skills he has left is to have a mesmer drain his energy and have an warrior spam SoC. if he doesnt use warriors endurance under those conditiosn he doesnt have it.

Rangers.
Afrhul Deeproot Pinesoul frozen forest
He uses Barbed traps I think he might have crippling shot because of this.

Melandru's cursed(perdition rock)
Someone has said he has Melandru's Resilliance but this has never been confirmed and with the exception of old feather claw most of the dragon's skill is unique if it can be confirmed that both Melandru's Cursed and Dragon Facet has Melandru's Resilliance then we need a new ranger boss to find

Orange hes wrong unless he did something special to make it use it, i just spammed him for 5 mins with wildblow soc and he wouldnt do it.

Resnar Mountainsight - Ranger - Melandru's Arrows - Stone Summit - Frozen Forest

ive now tried to get it about 5 times now, tried both spots, many diff situations. Plus Id like to add the guy's screenshot has 3 elite skills in his bar...

Me and 5 other warriors have been trying to cap Battle Rage from him for hours now. Trying every variable we can think, with no success. Can anyone link me this screenshot?

I saw it earlier, its on a board that is now down.

This is perfectly feasible. When you capture an elite in a mission it stays on your bar regardles of whether you have another elite on the bar already. It isn't removed until after you finish the map. If he went into a mission with two SoCs and an Elite already on his bar it would be easy for him to wind up with 3 Elites on his bar.

I've certainly done missions where I spent the the majority of the mission with at least 2 Elites.

I'm really starting to think its all a hoax. I've spent many hours on this today, and nothing.

Im very sure of it being a hoax, actually. But on the other hand I'm going out of town for a week so I hope you guys have this all figured out by the time I get back .

I don't Beleive its a hoax too much trouble to go through for a quick laugh plus if he doesnt have battle rage then what elite does he have? Its been confirmed by multiple people. every other boss so far has had an elite once your pass the crystal desert. Even if he didnt have battle Rage he would have something.

People use your brains you have to MAKE them use it you cant just spam soc and hope you catch it. There are Reason why these skills havent been capped so far and its more than it being a stance and not being shown.

Look earlier in this thread people keep saying the power drain boss didnt have power drain but all you need to do is drain his energy so hes forced to use it. Same thing is true for many of the skills that arent pure attacks or spells. That said maybe the easiest way to probably get battle rage is to force him to sprint, no bots or let bots die and have everyone sprint around. Not an warrior so cant confirm this but thats what i would try to cap battle rage

finally got my War/Mo to Elona reach did some testing with Custodian Dellus

I have come to the conclusion
A:Either Dellus has no Elite but has the non elite Endure Pain or
Bellus has Defy Pain but its bugged to be uncappable right now

Had dellus fight little thom for a good 10 minutes I notice that right before he used thrill of victory his health bar would get noticebly higher and then suddenly drop 12-15 seconds later. Also right before he uses thrill of victory you can hear the sound of an warrior skill being activated. I thought this was thrill of victory but did some testing and thrill of victory is an silent attack.

so either he has Endure pain or Defy Pain

if its defy pain its bugged

I attempted to capture Battle Rage from him for hours today. Using everything we can think of. Sprinting around him, Crippling him, getting him low on health, allowing him to wail on us at full health, Disrupting his attacks so he could use nothing BUT the stance (he only used Mighty Blow/Disrupting Chop), using Wild Blow to end his stance, used the mesmer Hex to limit his adrenaline.... we tried EVERYTHING. So far I know of no one at all who has actually captured it, everyone simply "confirms" and says that yes its the mob, based purely on one person who has a screenshot.

We did not come here and start whining about it really, we were just putting the idea out there that it MIGHT be a hoax, as all attempts on it so far have failed. We do not need you preaching to us about how to capture a damn skill.

If it is true, and the boss does have it, I think its either bugged, or that the boss uses it at the same time as another one of his skills, making it near impossible to capture, but again we disabled his skills AND used Wild Blow on it many, many times.

Also, battle rage gives a movement buff, he never once moved faster than his usual speed, for us anyway. No matter what we did.

hey guys...just registered on this forum and I'm not too sure if anyone has confirmed this yet but nec skill Feast of Corruption(Dreadnought's Drift:Maw The Mountain Heart[Wurm]) just got it and its a pain to get to wat with all the stone summit dwarves and tundra giants...its at the SE corner and well...heres the link to the confirmation pics

I saved the screenshot of the guy that claimed to have found battle rage. Since guild hall is down I thought I'd post it on here for people who know how to tell if a screenshot is fake or not. Sure seems like a lot of work for a hoax but I have yet to see anyone else confirm this boss has battle rage. And for what it's worth, I had no luck with him using battle rage either.

i fought Afrhul Deeproot in Frozen Forest while i was hunting for the Mountainsight guy to get my melandru's arrows. i saw him use 3 regular skills. fight lasted about 3 minutes. while the henches killed all the guys around him, i was standing there idle just watching his bar of skills. never saw an elite, but that leaves the option that he could have a stance as i did not spam the Signet of Capture. but there are no stances un accounted for so i'm not going back out there to find him again heh

E = Ettin Boss Spawn (Rull Browbeater)
D = Drake Boss Spawn (Dosakaru Fevertouch, Skintekaru Manshredder, or Geckokaru Earthwind)

P = Phantom Boss Spawn (Malus Phasmatis, Pravus Obsideo, Ignis Effigia) I believe Golem boss' spawn here too

FG = Fleshing Ghoul or Cursed Boss Spawn (Balthazar's Cursed)

HC = Harn Coldstone or Maxine Coldstone (This guy wanders and may be found anywhere actually, I think mostly only found on the East side though)

The one Hydra spawn appears to also sometimes spawn an Ettin. You'll see on the map H / E right next to eachother. Unfortunetly you have to run there really soon because the Obsidian Bows will attack whatever boss is here.

I also added the path of the two Coldstone Boss' that wander the map. I've figured out that they only start to walk when you're in radar range of its start location. If you never see him, then he will never move. But as soon as you see him once thats when he begins to move and you can see the path he takes incase you die. I assume that it loops completly but i'm not sure so I just put the end at the last place i've seen him walk.

comments the HC path seems to be a little off and changes from what i seen Start location for me is typically a lit bit more south east

the flesh ghouls/phantoms/cursed all share the same spawn points so they can spawn at either of those points nice job man

those elites are battle rage, peace and harmony, and healing hands

peace and harmony comes from snake dance (the zone he is capping it in) so it was easy for him to have those certain 3 elites on his bar

that cave usually has a ranger boss in there the whuupwhatever guy

the guy gots the screenshot, and the skill from the mob, why call him a liar for helpin out? =P

I've been looking for "Charge!" in Perdition Rock for a while now, but I just can't find it. I think I've seen about 5 bosses already, none of them use "Charge!" First, is the skill even in Perdition Rock anymore, and if it is, I would like directions on where to find the skill. Thanks.
