Frankly, I find that to be a patently ludicrous claim. I help people - I walk them through missions, I help them skillcap, whatever, but I do it on *my* terms. I don't expect people to flame me for leaving groups when I made clear in the beginning what my plan was....

You told them you were leaving after they got infused? If you said, "After we get infused, Im heading back.", then you are right, but if you didnt say that, then they had no clear prior warning that you wernt staying.

Not saying ALWAYS help, but if its not any trouble, like you cant stay because of work, school, need to do things around the house, ect, then yes, if theres no reason you cant stay, you should stay.

(Holy crap, quit it with the flaming. Take it to PMs.)
Anyways, I was just sitting in Altruum Ruins, when I notice something odd.
Tank Spiker? In PvE? and a W/Mo? Spamming for a mission invite? To a location that doesn't even have a mission? I was intrigued.
However, I was right, he was a jerk.
(WARNING: May make Monks cringe)
After, I told him he was going to get a nice spot in this thread.

Mending makes up for the negligible extra damage you take; covered on all fronts!

they dont need much energy, and they need self healing in RA. mending really helps with conditions. and there isnt always a mesmer around to abuse your mending. i bet some ppl who calling mending warriors noob dont have any reason for it! they just heard something! mending is really noob in HA or team arena cuz u have a monk and its his job to heal u, so u can use your slot for another skill. but in RA i dont see any problem with it. well an stance or shock warrior is way better than mending war, but mending in RA doesnt look noob. but healing hands, its really noob if a warrior use it in any place i think just a waste of elite slot. PS: if u think im wrong pls correct me and tell me why a mending warrior in RA is noob, would be glad to know that |

another time someone did the same random invite but this time i was set for healing (missing a rez and 3 other skills lol)so i join them and they dont even w8 for me either (same day and im kinda pissed right now can't remeber why) after we get in about 10 min into the mission and we reach a hard part i8 just ditch them yeah thats right i leave those sucks to rot for not w8ing on me.. yeah i was a jerk that day I admit it.
btw for the toucher build some ppl use touch of agony or something like that (plague touch is for degening conditions or cripple) yeah correct me if im wrong but if you have cripple no amount of running skill well help you out right?

Anyways, my $.02. I agree with Rera, nearly 100%, except I think a little more tact could be helpful. You make your intentions clear in town, before leaving, and that is that. If people agree to this and later change their minds and want more, they can only "hope", not expect, that you stay as well. Never once in any of this thread did Rera ever say that he didn't make his intentions clear from the beginning. It's not like he's leaving early. This is exactly how the situation should be handled.
I have formed groups for mission and bonus, and when someone says they only want bonus, they don't get added. It's not a big deal. You don't invite chest runners and expect them to help you with your mission and bonus, do you ? A group is composed of a number of people with common objectives that are agreed to in the outpost. It really is that simple.
If you feel the right to expect others to change their objectives to help you, why don't you turn it around and see how willing you are to join a chest running group when you really want to do the mission and bonus. You wouldn't dream of doing that, now would you ?

Jerk being the guy who traded me a Letter to Mom instead of the correct one for completing the captured son quest (yes, I know I should have researched the name first....) , then refused to refund my money saying he ws told it was the right letter. I said even so, once he finds out it wasnt he should return my money and not scam me. Excuse after excuse, I waited over 40 minutes for him to return it (deep down I knew he wouldnt...) before he finally said that he wasnt going to. Another report filed...
Not really jerks, just idiots. In ToPK, our "Orders" who only seemed to use Order of Pain and who kept casting BR on me the MM when I had nearly full energy and I told him at least 6 times not to use it unless I called for it. My husband tried for 10 minutes afterwards trying to explain that why one shouldnt waste health and monks healing like that. Same group our monk that thought casting Aura of Faith and Vigorous Spirit (his main spell it seemed) when hurt party members were running away would help them. It shouldnt be up to the MM to heal the Rangers!!!

OMG what an awesome build...Prot spirit+frenzy?^^
Carl Butanananowski
yeah, but for a war, the constant need to spam prot spirit will prolly be a nuisance.
prism2525
wars only have 20 energy unless they have a glad's armor set. but still it's costly. 10E for prot spirit and 5 for frenzy. frenzy is every 8 seconds while prot depends on how much pts he dishes in prot prayers. No matter what he can't keep it up for too long unless there's a BR or BiP necro keeping up with his ass.
