W/X FoW Spider Farmer

I was just wondering, is this build your original idea, cuz i was using this build long before it had ever been posted. But i do not believe the idea came from you.... Im not sure, i would love 2 credit u 4 this, but i just cant be sure, since everyone wants credit for this one... i acctually created this build, i told racthoh to make the thread and take credit for my discoveries though

The original post of that build was last edited on my guild's site on the 25th of October. I hadn't posted it until I had the build down and deaths were minimal. I had been testing it in groups that would quit after the forgemaster, so I had a clear path to the hardest part of the cave to "challenge" myself with. Prehaps I've stumbled upon something that several people have already been doing well then, this is how I did it and I'm telling everyone how I did it.

Read the UW solo one as well, then make your conclusions as to whether I'm just stealing what I've written here. I know other FoW solo guides have popped up elsewhere, and I've heard of warriors soloing other parts of FoW before but not the cave on the beach. And whether or not that's true is a different story on its own. So again, just read some of my posts, other guides... then make your conclusion again. That's all I ask.

If that still doesn't convince you, I could send you an extensive screenie from my guild's forums, which details how I've been using that identical build since before the 9th of September, along with all of the responses. I wasn't farming spiders at that time, merely proof that I came upon the design quite some time ago. This was also before the boost to Dolyak Signet's strength, which plays a key role in the build.

regarding ryuho's claim, there is a chance that he could have been using this build for a long time as well. i don't mean any offense at this rac, but the *build* itself is pretty standard. galrath, final, and hundred blades is a popular combo amongst sword warriors. dolyak + watch yourself is a common armor boosting combo for solo farmers and tankers, and healing sig is one of only a few options a warrior has for self healing. I think that's why I love the build so much; it's so easy to use, and it works pretty well everywhere. The weakness of the defense is Soothing Images, Sympathetic Visage, and Ignorance. The offense is only hindered by typical warrior flaws.

Just makes me mad it took me so long to happen upon such a simple build.

However, I would prefer if the thread not become a debate about where the credit should go. Let it remain as a discussion thread where players who are struggling with the basics of it can get the answers they deserve. It takes more than a simple farmer to get this area working for them, and I take solace in the fact knowing that what knowledge I have divulged on them has helped develop a better warrior.

i was just pointing out that people shouldn't fight over the build. it is a rather simple, yet very effective one.

LOL! in the big world if u don't get on the ball someone will steal ur ideas b4 u can do ne thing wiht them, and then ur F@#ked. Thats how life works. If u ppl wanted credit for this build and it was truely ne one elses idea than u should have got on the ball and posted it b4 Racthoh could. Thats why in the real world they have a little thing called patents and copyrights. Even they don;t do u any good if u delay on taking credit for ur work.

@ the Tunnel i am confronted with another 4 dryder's.. I can't get the last one without getting a massive group of spiders on my ass..
And Yes I am wielding a longbow and NO I am not even near them with my agro bubble.. If this is the one I'm thinking of (there are three at the entrance and then a fourth one a little further into the tunnel), the fourth one always makes the initial spider groups spawn for me. Once I attack this initial groups is when the whole lot then spawn.

I usually ignore this last dryder until after the spiders are all dead and then take it out when entering the tunnel. It just means that you have to be more careful of it there if you stay around the tunnel entrance, although that's not really a hassle as I usually run back near the ghost to pick off individual groups of spiders.
