If it's during the evening (say PST) then it might be some db backups running.

Yesterday it was during the afternoon, but I'm pretty sure some of those other times were a bit later, yeah.

The site is much omproved TAHNK YOU.
GWG has moved from something I used only in dire despiration to running constantly in a tab next to wiki.

Been a bit slow last couple of days. Nothing major, but a noticeable change.

today has been horrible.....takes 3 time outs to get to a page...and then the page has no background colors.....started early this morning, at which point I gave up and watched tv instead (lots of infomercial

hoped it would have improved by this afternoon, but nope takes me 5 or 6 minutes to get to a page, sometimes I get 2 pages in a row to load fine, then 3 more time outs......not sure whats going on today.

I having the same issues as cosyfiep. Started around the same time too. It wouldn't load up at all for the past half hour or so.

Had the same problems for the past 2-3 hours. For the last 30 min. I could not even access any pages at all and get a network error message.

There have been times in the past week or two when I would have problems briefly, then it would be okay.
Today has been horrible. A lot of 'time outs' when trying to load a page.

K, I'm hearing random reports again of site performance issues. If you are having any errors please detail here what they are and when you are seeing site slowdowns. From what I can tell it's very random right now what users are experiencing problems and which ones aren't. So please keep us informed!

Inde, the only problems I've seen lately is slow page loading times in the morning (east coast, USA). It's random, somtimes a problem and sometime not. Not sure if that helps all that much.

Since the big upgrade I haven't had any issues like I used to. The site starts to slow down slightly during the evening times (GMT) here in the UK.

At random times when I check Guru I'll click on a thread and experience 5 minute lag before the thread actually comes up.

Normally this site has low lag, mostly it loads instantly, My pc is good, runs fine, loads every other site instantly, But for the past few days there have been serious lag spikes. Right now its so bad I have a 3-4 min load time if im lucky, or it goes to IE window saying can not load. I only get lag on this site.

Yea, I notice that aswell. Every day like clockwork GWG goes down at 1PM (European Mainland time) fro aobotu 5-10 mins. Every other site works normally, so its only GWG and not my computer.

fwiw, it's 9:03am EST right now, and any forum link is taking upwards of a minute to load. since it's only this site, and i'm on cable, it's most definitally a guru specific issue.

It's at a certain time of the day (that most people are almost logging off, but the new people who just wake up are already coming on)

Seems to be happening during the mornings for a few hours. Complaints of it today as well between 7:30 to 10:30 am EST. I'm not having any problems after or before those times.

to be honest, when it has affected me, its been at random times. obviously being in the UK, i guess i'm on during 'off peak' periods. no real major issue though as its not been happening in the last week or so

That pretty much nails it. Most days I'm at work so I'm not sure if it's Guru or my crappy connection at work. I'm home today and my connection here is good, so that's why I reported it today.

I'm noticing the same thing as Monty. Haven't noticed it for awhile, but it seems to be happening more frequently. Any word on why it only happens this time of the morning?

Website is really slow. I have a fast internet connection. Guru is the only real slow website for me. Its annoying.

today has been pretty wonky.....I tried to post a reply and it took about 10 minutes for the page to load.....was really really slow for about an hour....it seems to be back to normal now but last hour it was horrible (I took a phone call and answered the door for the mailman....and the page still had not loaded)....and its only guru...I was on another site at the same time (always am) and the other sites were moving along just fine and dandy.

There's been a few problems with the server for the past few days, cosy. kzap and Inde are aware of the problem and are working on it. Well, kzap is anyway. Supposedly.
