It isn't from collector, and all six which dropped were identical. They're not purple or gold, so salvaging anything from them is off the menu if you put a mod on (haven't tried modding yet)

Reasons why I believe this to be fake:

One of the Screenshots is named gw0662ed.jpg as in edited...
The other two have "strange properties" like the bush on the far right seeming to be in front of the sword.
Noone is selling them in the Forum, in Droknar, in Granite Cit. etc.
Noone there could show me one either.

Last but not least I just went there myself, no henchies, no drops, cool glitches though

So to wrap it up I offer 2k to the first person showing me the damm thing ingame, no pictures, no fuss. but I guess although you are willing and greedy you never happen to have time when I'm online.

So record a vidoe of the thing, forging a video is way more difficult than a picture so we should all believe in that.

Until then... nice fake though, kinda like it.

Someone did video it and it was "fake", i dont know though. (why does this stuff ALWAYS happen when im at work).

now the issue of pricing arises.

is it a xmas special, farmed to death but still valueable

Just because it didnt drop for you (us actually, I got disconnected in Mineral Springs) doesnt mean it doesnt exist. I'm going to go again and look.

I've had one drop for me, yay!

Has anyone seen more than 1 IDS drop per run? I've gone on 6 runs and seen it drop 1 time for 3 different runs.

Either I was incredibly lucky or they're not so rare - I had 6 drop for me in only two runs (done 3 total runs, didn't see any in last one). Yes I did share them out fairly to the others, merry christmas

They really arn't very rare drop wise almost every run to the springs seems to yeild(sp?) one.

Can sell high to noobies i guess but anone that goes on a few trips to the springs will get one.

So much talk for a blue dragon sword...

This took like 5 minutes for the developers, its the fiery one with a different color for the particles.

I thought it would be nice if they put some effort and actually made nice particle effects for various types of damage : earth, lightning, fire, ice. So far this is the fire particles only in blue.

Also, it kinda sucks that you get this effect only on dragon sword, and not on other blades, using the firery sword hilt (and in this case, a icy sword hilt).
