I got the Koss back, and after he got out of hospital, his shields stats are Armor 16, damage -5 20%, and health +30. I guess thats the max stats...

Just before I loaded Guild Wars, I downloaded Sun Java, which sat at a very respectable 350 kb/sec, so it`s definitely not a problem on at my end
