I've had a couple, but usually after an extended play session.

Minipets when added to the Hall of Monuments become dedicated. They then can't be added by another player.

The golems have that skill that makes you invulnerable if you're near them and they're in defense mode, IIRC. That helped me finish off...

I agree that it doesn't really matter considering we have so much Favor atm. But in principle Anet are idiots for doing this.
