Probably, because 25 min time is master for Normal mode, and 40 minute is for hard mode. You were doing hard mode for masters reward, maybe thats why.

Just make the qeusts Account Wide, so you can make one type of qeusts one day for your whole account. Due to that, increase rewards by like 10-20...
