PnH was nerfed because it was too powerful against hexes in general... however hex pressure from skills such as [Lingering Curse][Weaken...
Man, some of the best shield skins are preorder... so friggen annoying.
Also, since it isnt armor ignoring, cracked armor will increase the damage. However, on a side note, HB will induce scatter as its aoe damage....
Its not easy, but it is possible to block the stairs with "dead" golems, i cant remember how but I did it several times when farming books...
