Having more health than your opponent is unfair. Getting a superior vigor rune unlocked is random. Therefore, it is an unfair random advantage.

Farming provides a completely random chance of an unfair advantage in PvP.

I'd like it to be true but it probably isn't.

I'm one of those grumpy PvP players who always complains about grind, and I have one thing to say: Anet, you've restored my faith.

How does being allocated a rune by a random drop table have anything to do with earning, and how does less teams on the ladder mean more competition?

I think the hard to get items should be stuff you show off, not stuff you need to PvP effectively. I'd say they should add extremely rare...
