Hmm.. the max for hammers and bows is 5/1, but on Axes and Swords it is 3/1.

Very little. Probably a few hundred if you find someone who can't afford higher hp grips. 20 is the min and it goes all the way up to 30.

Is it Purple, Blue, Gold, White? Any mods? If it has no mods I'd say give it to a low level or sell it to the merchant as it isn't max...
You can apply two mods to the axe. Of course, those would replace the two mods that are currently on the axe.
I dunno its exact worth, but I'd say more than 1k for sure O.o The req is 8 axe mastery which boosts the value a bit. Still nothing that...
