People used them spam alcohol points and were banned. Fully automatic macros are bannable.
And beginners to the trade can even salvage them from scorched and enchanted ones in pre/post Ascalon. You don't need a special build either...
I did it long before 7 heroes was even an option, with henchman. You should be able to handle the Ring of Fire. Just don't hurry yourself.
Got everything I wanted from the first sale like this last year. Can't say I want anything else.
