Use summon spirits. I never liked spiritleech aura. Try replacing it with a self-heal or a pve skill (YMLAD or EVAS). Use a longbow to pull them...
What is the exact build you are using. Armor of unfeeling and summon spirits should fix your problem as long as you aren't aggroing...
