VERY old is the understatement of the century...try antique. Time for a total system upgrade there.

After you uninstall, make sure you delete the C:\Program Files\Guild Wars directory. If you don't, you haven't uninstalled it completely....

What happens to the network if that "problem machine" is the only one powered on and connected? Does the network still go haywire?
