I would suggest uninstalling the driver. Then reboot. Reinstall the driver. Then Reboot. See if it still happens.

I just tried it. Click and drag the icon on the screem over the menu button and unclick. Boom! Its gone!

I always put my GW into window mode then minimize it. I used to have a similar problem, but not since I started doing it this way.

If you are like me you keep hitting the right combo of keys windows has designed to minimize windows. I forget the combo right off though.

I believe you just drag them back to the menu.
