well, the X series from ATI was their first series of cards available in PCI-E(xpress). so yes, i believe that's correct.

pictures might have to wait a bit, since the rig does not have a flashcard reader, and i can't find my camera's USB connector cord....

what kind of news do you have on the HD4870? most of the stuff i've been getting seems to be pure speculation.

the computer is currently running on a cheapy stand-in card. i'm still going for the HD4870 when they come out.
