I think that swords have better average DPS. However, axes have higher straight damage skills, and a higher maximum damage.

The only time I ever use 85 al armor is when I ice imp farm. Everywhere else, the +5-7 energy is beneficial to me. PvP is Gladiators for sure though.

So what would you say is a good shield/sword/armor pieces for this farming build?
