You should try that same party in Dreadnaughts Drift. You'd never make it.

Pull the first enemy party to the merchant, and he will/should run past the gate. Recall to him. Works 100%.

I'm going to have to disagree with the above poster in regards to Spiteful Spirit. I had no trouble. Even finished the super impossible...
