first of all, you don't have all your attribute points. either because your not level20, or you haven't done your attribute point quests...

well technically, enemy ai didn't scatter to aoe in the first place. although, your right in that it did change upon the coming of hard mode...

while ele's can only add +elemental damage to weapons, ritualists can have much more diverse afffects from interrupting, increasing energy...
