Other than maybe your installation of guild wars, not really. It could be that they aren't using system restore and have it turned off.

Well, then it's completely down to your router, as to what's blocking you from playing guild wars. What is the model number of your router...

Because the data currently no longer matches what it has archived or backed up, so it's attempting to restore itself from backup.

I'd say go ahead and uninstall guild wars completely and reinstall. Don't save the Gw.dat file.
