No one buys non-max items, unless it's a req7 Shield with Armor 15. As I already told you yesterday, salvage if you want some mods... and...
Not anymore in that range. req9s are around 35k or lower. I'd say 15-20k max for a req10 (without mods), but wait for more PCs.

If you don't have Prophecies you still get the Tyria Map once you travel to EotN, you just can't travel to most parts.
Going to EotN doesn't break anything in the storyline of the other campaigns. Just travel back and continue where you left.
