I prefer the hive mind theory, but the idea that we american's are incredibly bad at PvP works too.

40 armor is essentially doubling base damage of whatever is hitting you. Dunno about attack bonuses however.

Those arent really "bad" per say... just overly abused and hated. (Yet so easily countered)
