Please Post All Bugs & Glitches For the PvE Nightfall Event Here!

well this sucks... all the character slots in my regular account are already taken so I have to make a temp account just for this weekend, thats cool and all but every skill I unlock in the weekend event will be lost at the end.
I cant see whats so hard about giving us atleast one extra slot just for the weekend event, after all it only helps Anet that people test out the game...
ah well...

Im not sure if this is directly related to the Nightfall Event, or just all preview events, but everytime there is some sort of sneak-peak/preview test event i get frequent (and i mean frequent) Error7's. The day the event is over, im fine again.

This makes it so incredibly hard to play and test the game to see if i want to even buy it.

Any ideas on how to fix this, or what this is related to?

Everyone in my guild but me can make new nightfall pve chars. When i try, i just get the same old nightfall coming soon screen with an OK button, and can't get beyond it.

I've run gw with -image, and i got the update to the skills window [k] but i can't seem to get any of the rest of the event.

Ideas?

Someone else got problems with downloading the files for the event updates, been downloading for 10 mins now and it's only on 1%... realy annoying

Keeps loosing conection to the server, then promptly freezing up (guildwars client stops responding) trying to get back into town after letting me access the creation screen.

Of course i've done that. No result.

I'm getting a really annoying bug..

Whenever I cast Arcane Echo, and then the new Necro Elite "Reaper's Mark" The game freezes (in Isle of nameless) or kicks me due to 'loss of internet connection' (in RA maps)

Very annoying.

EDIT: I don't even have to cast Arcane Echo. Whenever I cast 'Reaper's Mark' it breaks

I finished the opener mission before you get to the trainers and didn't get drops that usually appear in a window after a mission. Basically I kill the last guy and blue weapon drops, cinematic goes then no option to get drop. If the rest of the missions have this same 'issue' then I see it as an issue...

EDIT: OIC I was still 'in' the mission and got the drop after I got done...

I had a crash to blue screen - an error in the nvatabus.sys file - while in the first mission town, after having adjusted the graphics options around.

In two years, I've never had a crash in GW before, and am very certain that this system is stable, as I use it for high-end pro audio daily.

Did the tutorial, got to the first small outpost. I took the quest to defend the village and went to load the Chahbek Village instance. Gave up after being stuck at 0% for 10 minutes. Tried three times now with no joy.

EDIT - Now I can't login with any characters. After being able to login with my nightfall character 3 times any other character sit at 0% when attempting to load.

right now i can't change my attribs on any of my characters.




Oh and i don't have access to the beta event either.

Glitch or something... Random rollback during mid play.

I had just finished selling some stuff and trashing my starters spear and suddenly I was zoned to the town I had previously been to, my atts were reset, and everything was back in my inventory... o_O While I dont know if it was intened or just some random reset surge - I wonder how often it will happen.. I didn't lose any of my levels or rewards I dun think but it was very odd..... And I have no clue where I got this expert salvage kit but thanks o_O!

the game always crashes...

Zoned out of Kamadan (outpost) to Plains of Jarin.

When game loaded my hero Koss and I were occupying the same space on the ground. I could look around but could not move, as if I were trapped to that space. Tried both keyboard and mouse methods of moving, neither worked. I tried to use the flag to get Koss to move away from me, but the flag did not take and Koss did not move either.

I then attempted to map back to Kamadan to try again. I pulled up the map screen, clicked on Kamadan, and said travel, and then... nothing. The map window faded out and it was just me and Koss trapped in Plains of Jarin - the map was not working either.

I closed GW and restarted. I was back in Kamadan, so I decided to try it again. It was not a fluke - when I took Koss with me, the same problem occured, both the moving and the inability to map out.

Can anyone shed light on this? I wasn't having this problem two hours ago when I first started playing, but there was an update while I was offline.

It appears I am trapped at this early stage of the game -- really disappointed that it's unplayable right now. Lots of problems today.

As of the new build from 5min ago things are seriously broken.

As soon as you exit a town you are frozen in place and can't move.

I've also had 2 error 005's in the last 10min.

Rest of my internet browsing is fine.

I'm on the European servers.

same for me and ever single player i speak to in euro districts is locking up as they leave towns

Ditto Polgara.

Yeah i have that also, as well as stuck at '100%' while trying to get to enter 'Cliffs of Dohjok' explorable area.

I'm having an issue with the latest build, too. Now, when I click the hero's (Koss) button in the party window while in town, GW crashes immediately. Happened twice now, and I know it worked fine before with no problems.
