Not sure how much there is there. The tips I have are about the same as on WIKI with the exception of use the wurm speed skill and ur running. It is random what gate opens so if your gate dont open restart or get 15 more points to open another.

Just finished getting 100%, thanks again to Silent Vex for pointing out a spot or two i hadn't noticed, which made going from 99.1 to 100% that much smoother.
I'd also like to thank Livingston for founding these Cartographer threads and everyone who assists him in aiding others to attain these titles.
My two cents on the subject of mapping is to use the zoomed out version of the map and differentiate with a 100% map in Photoshop to find general areas. After this the U map comparison with a complete map works like a charm and saves time in the long run in my opinion.

Other than the Dynastic tombs, is there another area that I can get the rest of the 0.9% from?

Hi all and congrats to all those that have made it so far. Finally after getting to elite skill hunter I'm ready to finish this but a little stuck at 98.1% if anyone could spare the time to take a look at my map it would be greatly appreciated. I know I have the last spot to clear in the wurm challenge mission but that is all I can see at mo. Cheers in advance ;-) BTW map is 1024 and lvl 10 compression.
Update just found your map Silent Vex and it's helped me no end upto 98.7% now so will keep trying yet. Using both the difference method and flicking by hiding layers is perfect.

Livingston Ive tried the layers technique. Putting my map over the top of another.
I used that method to get 100% on other two.
The problem is that I havent found any zoomed out maps which are the same size as mine.
I have my game running at 1024x.... but even the maps you provided in your OP, to compare to, are HUGE by comparison.
Ive tried resizing yours, but it wasnt perfect and it made it worse.
BTW, all of the maps ive took from your OP actually have bits missing, which I have at 99.5%.
Am I just being completely stupid? or have I missed any actual 100% explored zoomed out maps on your OP which are at a resolution close to 1024x...?

I'm stuck betwen a rock and a hard place - I'm at 99.6% but i've got from about 98.9 to 99.6% with absolutely no changes on my U map. Changes on the zoomed out version, but no luck. I had a guidlie do a difference function for me, and he said I completely missed the islands southwest of Yohlon Haven - how on earth do you get there?

You can't, that's not part of any exporable area.

Those pictures were obtained from opening the gw archive in your gw directory. They are not screenshots taken from the game. The background picture is not a zone currently in use, and the foreground picture is the noob starter area (not necessary for 100%). Congrats on your gmc by the way.

Thanks a bunch Silent, you were right on the money despite the not so great quality of my map. Thanks also to all who contributed to this forum, all helpful.Much easier than Cantha and especially Tyria(due to size). Now for Anet to make the skill title chapter based - having gotten all 290 available so far.

Silent, I couldn't figure out how to preserve the .bmp format and still upload it. I usually just email the map to a guildie, so here's the highest quality .jpg I could manage.

Silent I checked out all the spots you marked, they got me up to 99.8% (thanks by the way). There was one spot that I tried to get, but I couldnt seem to unfog it; that was the one NW of Beknur Harbor. Is there some special way to get it?
Also here is my updated map at 1280x1024 as a bitmap, hopefully that will help you find my last little bit.

Thank you Livingston for the guide (also used yours for Cantha and was able to get 100% in September with that Jade Quarry organized group)
Also thanks SilentVex for pointing out the spots I missed. I just did some of them and that got me .4 and then I got .6 with the wurm challenge
A side note, I have not done the chantra of secrets are after end game since I still have not finished the game.
Also I have not done all the wurm challenge so there is a big leeway.
