Now my eyes are blood shoot from trying to find my remaining .6 left. It seems to me you have a little fuss SE of The Astralarium and some more in the Vehtend Valley around the Large Island in the Northern half. How do you make the Stitched U map?

Thanks man. But no luck. I have not uncovered anything after 2 hours of trying in those areas. Either I am doing soemthing wrong or I did not understand the area you are referring to. I used photoshop and took print screens and then layered them up using difference blending. Hope it makes sense.

hey guys. my image is too big for imageshack so i uploaded it on megaupload.com. i've uncovered 99.4% so far. i tried Luxa's method but i couldn't spot any differences. <.< my monitor can't support resolutions higher than 1024x768 so this is the only image. please help. >.<

Just got my Elonian GMC today. I don't know if there is any more that can be mapped but I haven't even done The Ruins of Morah so I can't get into the Mouth of Torment or the end area by the Chantry of Secrets.
I found this title to be easier to get than either the Tyrian or Canthan GMC; I didn't even have to do endless map comparisons or go hunting for that nagging last .1%; it just worked out that I hit 100% as I ran out of visible fog. Now to work on the PoE title...

As many of you know, I am currently trying to bench mark what each area of the Elona map is worth.
Just got finished mapping the starter Isle with an Elonian character.
I ended up with 21.9%
Some people have posted that they got 22% or even a little more. Can anyone confirm this with absolute certainty?

^When I mapped it out with my tyrian it turned out .2 or .3 less than that Livingston. Would the tutorial are account for the difference?
Also. If you post a map, and request for someone to look at it, do not post it a second (or third or FOURTH) time until someone has had a chance to look at it and respond to your request. I will delete any duplicate requests. This thread is a enormous help to alot of people, but at the moment alot of people are in the same boat as far as their mapping goes. It will take some time to get to everyone, so do not make it more difficult by posting your maps/needs/questions multiple times.

I skiped the tutorial and got 21.9% off starter island, If thats the max then i can srop worrying about starter island and try to find the last 6% on the main land. Can any one confrim that only the desert challange mission counts to the map.

Spike: it does(Ruins of Sahlahja) and it gives you a pretty big chunk

Anyone know how much that desert challenge mission adds to your maped % ? and does the sunspear arena on starter count as well?
I think it maybe that some people are includeing the 4th mission as part of starter island which in my opinion it should'nt be. Maybe this is where thier geting the extras tenths.
Its possable you missing a lil bit north of Kamadan.

The Sunspear Arena definitely counts. Even if you are past level 10 you can still map the lobby area.

Thanks for the 100% maps that I got to compare too only piece of advice I have to give is WALL HUGG and GET IN THE CORNERS!!!!! and wiggle back and forth
 most common missed area people are also not doing is the "Remains of Sahlahja" challenge mission with the wurmCashane

I don't have Photoshop so is there a tutorial for using LuXa's method with Paint Shop Pro 7? It has layers but I've never used them. I have GMC for Cantha but only 92.3% for Tyria and 90.6% for Elona and need to find where to clear.

I took a look at your noob island maps and the only obvious differences were the places I couldn't get (starter area and inside arena). The only other possible place I saw was outside the very SE town. Go out the west exit, and follow the left wall all the way to the SE corner of the zone by the 8 sided boat thing. If that doesn't get you a bit, blame it on the jpeg fuzz (it was nearly impossible to compare the water...).

Desert mission (challenge) DOES count towards 100% as does the sunpear arena as for people that are NOT from ELONA you DONT NEED all of starter island to have 100%

I'm sure I got my 21.9% BEFORE I did the docks mission and with out the tutorial and sunspear arena. Someone on here posted that the starter island was 22%. So when I got to 21.9% I assumed that the tutorial was the missing 0.1%

Nothing sucks more than to get 99.9% Elona, and then stare countless hours at pre-made maps by the current Cartographers. I finally made 100% after about 5 hours of scraping areas that probably had 1 pixel uncovered. After that, and a few beers later, I think Anet took pity on me, and gave me my Grandmaster title. I didn't uncover anything, but perhaps the title could come down to ever the tiniest pixels on the Umap. I swear I would have jumped off my building if I couldn't find that elusive .1%!!! =P

Im completely and utterly stuffed as where to look. comparing maps hasnt helped. I even opened the map in GWs and the 100% I have in paintshoppro and compared them accross screens. Still nothing. Having already 100% in the other day, i know this could take a while. But I got my KOABD title yesterday and I want to add it

If my memory serves me well, the tutorial area (Island of Shehkah) granted 0,2%, but maybe a part of it is already uncovered when you go in Chahbek Village. woundedfighter

1.4% is a huge chunk missing. You should be able to find many spots when you look at Livingston's maps. Hell, I was able to stare at his maps and pick up parts that were .1% in three areas, giving me 99.9% total. Once you hit that, GL on the rest.
Post a copy of your map and I'll see if I can offer suggestions as to where you need. fibassassin

Sorry man, I can't see the details on your maps. You're gonna need to bump up the size so I can get a better look. When you're talking about .1% pieces, that makes it all the harder.
